We have an approved case for K1 visa at US embassy in Cairo, Egypt. The case is being under Mandatory Administrative Processing for about 80 days. I've had contacted the CO and congressman many time but there was no progress. I keep getting the same email reply over and over, every time I sent email to the CO: Please note that your case is currently undergoing mandatory administrative processing. The time needed to review an individual’s case is difficult to predict I know that the Administrative Processing is a black hole and the main reason for this delay, also the length of that delay is uncertain. This is so frustrating!!!

I have a Year and 5 months in ap.

I understand very well your furstration.

All i can advise you: be patient, be strong.

Long ap is frustrating and sometimes destroy your relationship, i can tell.

Everyday your dreams come down, and the more frustrating is that they dont say nothing.

It is a black hole.

Pray and i hope that you ap doesnt take long.

In my case my relationship is destroyed, long distance relationship is very frustrating.

Ilovemyman, one year and 5 months ?! that is a very long time! I am currently in one week AP and my patience is wearing thin already! Are you still in AP? Did you try contacting your local congressman/woman? I thought that after 6 months they are supposed to intervene :(

We have done everythin, belive me in one year and 5 months we have writen to everybody, thanks to senator office i had a second interview on april 1 but case is still in ap, after that i found out that they have a wrong criminal record from the police, i did all process to clear my name.

I found out about the criminal record by myself they never said nothing about that.

And if you are impatient with a week in ap, i wish you the best and that your ap dont be long.

I have learned to be patient.

there is a case in ap for 5 years and 3 interviews and still in ap, read that case at the ap forum.

Reading more cases you find patient.
