Advice Needed - Wednesday Interview

I'm slightly (very!) worried about my interview next Wednesday. All my paperwork is in order and my medical results were fine but I don't have much supporting evidence.

My USC wife had been living with me in Scotland since we married two years ago while we applied for my US Visa. I own my home and all the utilities etc are in my name, nothing had Katie's name on it.

I have a few birthday cards etc and phone bills to the US for the last two months since Katie moved back but not much else. I have couple of letters from my bank addressed to Katie at our Scottish address and a letter from our Doctor (who is also a presonal friend) stating that he was at out wedding and that we have a valid marriage.

Are they likely to ask for anything else? Any tricky questions they might ask?

It would be great to hear from someone with recent experience of a London interview.

Thanks!!!

Thanks for that, a drink or two may indeed be the answer!

It's just that it's almost two years since I first tried to file DCF so I'm nervous as hell!!!

You will do just fine, calm down :)

I didn't even get asked for any relationship evidence at all, but you never know!

Just take what you have, and photos perhaps?!

Calm down and make sure you sleep the night before, and eat in the morning. I didn't and it felt terrible!

We just had our interview on 20th Feb and they didn't ask for any proof of our relationship. We did bring tons of letters (we don't have anything joint, so just brought lots of letter sent to each of us at our address), cards from family, even our huge wedding album. But they didn't ask for a thing! Best to be prepared so take what you've got. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Hi....

Take a deep breath...you're going to be fine. We were a CR1 from Scotland as well.

We brought pictures-utility bills from the US-auto insurance bills-bank statements-wedding albums-wedding invites-wedding photos-photos from throughout our relationship-wedding ring reciepts, etc...and...THEY ASKED FOR NONE OF IT.

Just have copies of your USCIS & NVC docs-the "evidence"you mentioned that you have on hand will be sufficient.

Best of luck to you in the states ! ! !

Rose

PS-What state will you be settling in ?

Thanks. I think we'll be settling in New York as I'll be working in Manhattan. The California climate is VERY appealing though!
