Yes, that time has finally come. One day exactly from today I will be boarding a plane and heading to Lima. I land at 11:30 pm and we have our appointment at 7:30 the next morning.

I've heard the legends of the 50 year old man with glasses. Yes, quite an a-hole this guy is.....he'll ask about sex and anything else he can think of. I get that funny feeling inside that I'm heading for his line......like a showdown with your arch nemesis or something. Good thing I look like Superman.....or at least Clark Kent.

I'm nervous, scared, petrified and I can't sleep very well. Apart from that, doing ok.

I'll try to refrain from my usual brand of comedy around the CO.....I think that's best :)

I'm just really excited so see mi amor.....

Did not see any guy with glasses when I went down for silvia's interview, just women were working the windows and A lady in the interviewer room.

Good luck, enjoy the trip

:)

Take it easy Merc.. it's all down hill. And if the CO is flippant... just remain professional about the whole thing.

Have a safe trip and good luck on your interview.

A great big thanks to all my VJ peeps! I'll be returning on Sunday and I'll share the news......or if we get declined you might see me on the news hahahahaha. What's the penalty for throwing a chair out the window?

Lucia has been patiently waiting in Lima since her medical on the 10th. All of that time nearly alone has got her head spinning but I've managed to keep things calm or as she would say tranquila hehehe.

If we get approved she actually won't be coming back with me......I have to wait until May after her contract with the hospital is up and she gets her followup done for her Lasik.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
