HELP WAITING FOR INTERVIEW!

I received an email from the visa center saying that all the paperwork needed on my case has been received and completed on July 13th and that i needed to wait for an interview at Ciudad Juarez(Mexico).. its been almost a month and nothing has happened.. ive read in some cases that people call their consulates and set up the interview.. is this something i should do? Or should i wait for the consulate to set up an interview for me???? Also.. Whats the waiting time since all the paperwork is completed at visa center til you get an interview at consulate???? Please help! Thank you!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

August 1, 2014: I-129F packet sent (USPS Priority mail)

August 5, 2014: NOA1 received (email/text)

August 9, 2014: NOA1 hardcopy received/Alien Registration Number changed

October 3, 2014: RFE notice received (email/text)

October 9, 2014: RFE hardcopy received (General question missed on I-129F part 3) *Oops

October 10, 2014: RFE response inquiry sent (USPS Priority mail)

October 15, 2014: RFE response review (USCIS)

October 21, 2014: NOA2 I-129F was approved (email/text)

October 28, 2014: NOA2 hardcopy received

November 13, 2014: NVC received and case number assigned

If it is a K-1 visa, you will need to register on the site below to pay for the visa fee, schedule your interview/ASC biometrics, and select the DHL location.

Should it relate to an CR-1/IR-1, the process is different and they (Juarez Consulate) will schedule you for an interview upon availability but the timing can vary and perhaps a fellow CR-1/IR-1 case forum member can chime in. :)

If you're married, then you're looking for the CR-1/IR-1 visa. Do you have an approved I-601a waiver? Filling in your timeline would allow us to help you better.

Yes im sorry i havent filled in my timeline i will do it soon! And Yes my I-601 have been approved and all the visa documents as well which are the affidavit of support and the visa application.. i received an email saying that all necessary documentation have been received and completed.. and that i just needed to wait for an interview.. but my question is if i could just call the Juarez Consulate and ask for a date? Ive seen cases where ppl call and make an appointment for their interview themselves.. its been a month and i havent received an interview date yet...

We are IR1/CR1 and we have had a case complete at the NVC since June 17th. The NVC will schedule the interview and notify you via email. Hoping for an interview date soon!!
