Canadian Medical Question - Required Vaccines?

i just got off the phone with the US medical doctor and he said that they can still do the medical but I need to do an antibody titer asap

Forget everything you read about the General rule for Vaccines and the K1. Canada does not follow this rule you need proof or the shots no way around it.

That is what I just said in my first reply to you. They will do the medical but won't release it till you show proof of starting them or titters showing your immune.

Im hoping that everything shows up properly in the titer because I was in canada since I was 1 years old, theres no way I didnt get these shots. I dont even know where they keep the records

The Health Unit keeps them for along time. Not forever but a long time. Call them and they can look you up.

I had to call them to get records since I couldn't find all my papers.

I was in the same boat so I just got my MMR done again. There was no harm in doing that. Wouldn't that be easier for you?

For chicken pox he just asked me if I'd ever had it before and I said yes. I didn't need proof of that one.

You can get the tetanus too, no?

so basically you just need the MMR and tetanus records? I can tell the doctor I had chicken pox without any evidence?

That's how it went down for me. I had my doctor give me the MMR last week and then print off my vaccination record. There was no chicken pox vaccine on there.

Of course I had the Td/TdAP done when I was a kid on there too.

ok well that part is covered but im still confused about the tetanus, I know I got a booster shot over 10 years ago.

it says on the medical site that you need proof of the initial 3 immunizations received at ages 2,4,6 months and a booster within the last 10 years, did you have to show this?

It is important that you take any written vaccination documentation you may have to the civil surgeon when you have your immigration medical examination.

If you lack any vaccinations required for your age category, the civil surgeon will administer the vaccines as needed. In the alternative, you can also choose to obtain the required vaccines from your private healthcare provider. However, because only a civil surgeon is authorized to complete the vaccination assessment on the Form I-693, you must return to the civil surgeon with the proof that you have received the missing vaccines.

Since Dr. Lyndon doesn't do them you have to get them done beforehand.

You need the sealed envelope the Dr. issues in hand when you go for your POE so I doubt you can do it after. You need this proof to enter the US.

It's a good one for reference purposes, but remember Civil Surgeons are the approved doctors in USA if you file for adjustment of status. In consular processing, you have to rely on the websites of approved panel physicians in the country you are interviewing at.

I don't know what vaccines you're referring to. I only had the Td/TdAP and MMR proof, and verification I had chicken pox.

I do have all my vaccines, I just got them all, but I moved back to my original province after being gone for 12 yrs and can't get any medical records from my past, does anyone know exactly what I should do (I do have vaccine records)?
