I hope this could help anyone.

my wife case was approved for expeditious processing back in April 13th, 2015. The case was sent to Egypt on April 21st, 2015. I sent an email on June 2nd to ask about the status, and Cairo advised that the case is still in transit from NVC.

On June 22nd, the senator's office inquired about the case with US Embassy in Cairo, and the case became ready after their inquiry. The embassy told the senator's office that they are waiting for the applicant to arrive to Egypt to schedule the interview. after several attempts to get an entry visa to Egypt from the Egyptian embassy in Jordan, I decided to fly to Egypt to apply in person for security clearance for my wife. just when i was about to go, the status changed from ready to case transferring to different consulate on August 03. the transfer happened without our request. we were not happy but the next day the US embassy in Djibouti sent an email with interview date of August 19th. we flew to Djibouti on August 15th, did the medical, had interview on the 19th, Visa on the 20th and left Djibouti. we arrived to the US yesterday.

I believe if your case was approved for expeditious processing in Egypt, then they schedule an interview for you in Djibouti very fast.

best wishes for all.

For people who had there cases transferred to Algeria:

Send an email to the IV unit at the embassy in Algiers requesting an interview and attach a photo of the beneficiaries entry stamp to Algeria. If there case has been electronically transferred then they may give you a appointment. This has worked for a few people. I personally just sent the email today

الله يوفق الجميع

So after sending them the email with the passport entry stamp and requesting and interview this is what they replied to me

Thank you for your email. Your case will be transferred to Algiers. Case transfers can take several weeks to arrive at the embassy from the time the transfer request is processed at the National Visa Center to the arrival of the files in Algiers. The U.S. Embassy in Algiers will contact you when your case arrives to let you know the date of your visa interview.

The embassy recommends that you do not travel to Algeria until after they provide you with a visa interview appointment date. You should plan to be in Algeria for up to one month while your case is being processed at the embassy. The Consular Section cannot provide an estimate on the processing time for your case as each case is different

Same thing we got when they accepted our case transfer from Cairo

I hope that's good news though. That they don't send you this same email they've been sending automatic to everyone hope they email you back with an interview date! Let me know if they reply to you .... I replied to them saying

To my understanding my case has arrived and has been ready in Algeria since July 29th after being in "transfer in progress" as seen on the ceac.state.gov website. And showing you the entry stamp to algeria that my husband has been in Algeria for over a month we've been waiting a real long time for an appointment I thought it'd help with getting an interview. I'd really appreciate your help with this. Please and thank

I don't know if they would put it in consideration but I just hope we can get somewhere because with that email they brang me back to square one . Allah Kareem
