I had my biometrics done 2 weeks ago and now i am waiting for my AP ... i had the 10 finger scan when i had the biometrics does that mean that they did my employment papers too at the same time . I had to take both my biometrics and my employment NOA reciepts with me that day, this is the third week and stil have heard nothing. But now im waiting for my AP i have a NOA dated 27th of Jan too and i have a ticket to go back to australia on May 17th . Do you think i will get it by then ? Is there anyway of finding out how my case is going ?

sorry i know this is confusing and im being impatient :D

Your EAD and AP may show up around the same time. Mine both were in the mailbox on just about the same day, just like the NOAs. If you sent in your application for the I-765 (EAD) along with the I-131 (AP) when you filed for adjustment of status, your biometrics probably apply to most.

There's not really too much you can do to monitor the AP. It's supposed to arrive in 30 to 90 days, but some people's cases take much longer than that and others get it quite soon after their biometrics. I fell into that category; it showed up less than a month later.

If you want something to go by, look at other people from New York to see what their situation is like. Your local office is New York, I'm guessing. :)

You can probably make an InfoPass appointment or talk to your congressperson should there be an unreasonably long delay in your processing. However, until that 90 days is up there's probably not a lot you can do.

I would think your AP would be with you by May 17, probably a lot sooner. My AP and EAd both turned up together like autumnal's.

The good thing is that you have done your bios - some people think that not having bios done can hold up EAD and AP. Who knows? It is one of the unsolvable mysteries of USCIS!!!!
