i think it's a series of chinese labs in Ivory Coast.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Why do you believe he turned himself white?

And I'm sure it wasn't a skin condition.

Sure, I believe transracial is a good term. Great job NB! The English lessons I used to give you are really paying off!

Where is your proof?

omgz. really? it's not _my_ proof...

It's all over the financial news the last 4 years. Dig a bit more, you'll understand what trended from then till yesterday.

Again, men are the root of this problem. I am sure this was invented by men.

This is true. For white men, they are attracted to women of other races who have white features, like a pointy nose and straight hair. So if a woman is interested in attracting a man of this race she has to conform to what this man considers beautiful in his eyes.

Not quite true, considering that a majority of women with straight hair are not white. Try Asian or Hispanic or Indian.

Brown skin is typically seen among those who work hard outside. And many cultures try to avoid the stigma of being seen as a person of lower class (i.e. the working stiffs). To be dark brown is to be ugly, in those cultures. Hence the market for whitening creams and such.

Well, lets change this to pertain to certain situations. When you are talking to a black person in America, this is what we think, you are talking about a black American.

Meaning no offense, but it doesn't matter WHERE you are; if you say you are talking to a black person, then you are talking to a person whose skin is black.

And if you happen to google Ivorians, you sure don't see many people of a color other than black: https://www.google.com/search?q=ivorians&rlz=1C9BKJA_enUS628US628&espv=1&hl=en-US&tbm=isch&tbo=u&sboxchip=Images&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CDgQ7AlqFQoTCIjw87_boscCFdMriAod8lIARQ&biw=1024&bih=748#imgrc=_

It doesn't change the fact that most Africans do not consider themselves the same as black Americans. Bottom line. Sorry you don't agree.

Actually it does matter where you're from. Because people from Africa or any other country that have dark skin don't identify as black. They identify as the country they're from. Africans, Ivorians, Caribbeans, Jamaicans, none of these people call themselves black.

It's reserved for us who are born here and living in American. Like Janelle said go call one of them black and see what their response is.
