What Happens If U receive RFE

I received in my mail the Rfe and the one we sent while filling K-1 was 2004 and 2005 and they are requsting for 2006 tax now that we are filling for AOS return pls can any one let me know if we can use other persons aside from his and will that not bring up another problem? Only 87days given.

You can write them an Explanation regarding the 2006 Tax papers that why you couldn't about to attach them with your AOS papers

If your sponsor does not meet the income requirements then yes, you can absolutely bring in a joint sponsor that will vouch for you. Read the I864 instructions, it tells you what a cosponsor needs to send in and the income requirements for them.

Of course you show up for that appointment - it has nothing to do with the RFE. You have to have biometrics to get a greencard.

Just as future reference, if you get any notices for appointments with anything to do USCIS, even if they send you a letter saying it's cancelled (some people get notices their interview was cancelled), ALWAYS show up.

Hey Guys you are all too much your supports has help alot I went for the biometric right now i have found 2sponsor who meets the requirements. Hope USCIS will not refer to the 1st sponsor used? Or should I just Include a letter explaining Y I dont want to use him again?

You have a primary sponsor (the USC spouse of the immigrant) and you can also have one joint sponsor. I assume you mean the first sponsor is your husband? If so, he is still the primary sponsor, but since he doesn't have enough money you are adding a joint sponsor. You will still have two sponsors, just one is primary and one is joint. You need to submit all of the appropriate info for the joint sponsor and you could always include a note saying you are adding a joint sponsor since your primary sponsor's income does not meet the requirements. Still include all the information they are asking for in the RFE for the primary sponsor though (the 2006 taxes and whatever else).
