All of us people who are stuck at TSC have been waiting very long for our. Noa2s for long periods of time. I have been waiting 140 days which is plenty but not near the 250 days plus people. So while I hate the wait I realize there have been people who have waited much longer than me. Also I cannot bitter for those who got routed to CSC because it's not their fault the process did this. They had no control of that. The only time I get upset is if I see a CSC applicant complain about a short wait period. What's the point? I am writing just to put my specific case in perspective. I know it will eventually happen and I have to keep the faith it will happen soon. If I don't do this I'd drive myself insane.

A few months before I filed, I was noticing Filipino cases getting through TSC much faster than anyone else. However, from at least February, I have notice that that practice has ceased. Now Manila cases are handled like everyone else in TSC. Educator got the short end of both sticks. They missed the accelerated filing practice of TSC AND the CSC transfer! I hate that your case is still waiting. I hate that this imbalance exists!

There are so many from the March CSC filers that have their Filipino fiance's here in the US or at least about to get here. It's not fair. Educator, in my opinion, don't let anyone make you feel guilty about the way you feel. Even if those feelings are of resentment over this case load towards other CSC filers. It's okay to get ticked off about it. No, CSC filers can't do anything about it, but so what? You can get upset. Because when you do, you might release those frustrations, at least for a while. You may feel a little better afterwards and come to the same conclusion. Either way, it's not okay of what's happening.

To me, USCIS mis-handled their planned transfer. Their announcement gave so many hope, and we have yet to see any real improvements. This is just stupid. I know visa's aren't our right, but what is our right is to expect better performance from our government. This is really stupid case management!

Have you two been able to see each other since filing? I know being in my income bracket, dollars matter. It's hard to think about when/if you should plan another trip or save for a one way ticket here when closer to my salary level. But visiting can be refreshing, albeit brief.

I went twice. Once in February and last week for 2 weeks. It's sooo hard to say goodbye but that's the reality of the situation now. I am a school teacher so money is a concern. Luckily I gave a second job and used those earnings to be able to go.. Patience had to become my virtue but I realize many people have waited much longer than me.

It took way over a year for our K1 visa process..it was the most stressful time of my life, but I knew that I cannot do anything to move it faster. I heard someone complaining that the whole process took 2 months for getting visa in their hands (10 days for NOA2 @CSC). I just took it as life is unfair at times and concentrated on other things. There always will be unfairness and sometimes we don't have any other choice but to accept it :( Hope all goes smoothly for everyone that is waiting.

I waited 10 months for NOA 2 and still waiting for embassy apointment meanshile some that applied in mid or late april or even may have their appointment. I have even seen a couple who had their case arrive at the embassy after mine and they already have an appointment...me and my fiancee we wait and nothing happens. I have complained but gets me no where.

My case seem simple. We have no kids, I was born in the US, we have a clean record. I meet the financial requirements and i have visited her country 8 times and even lived with my fiancee for 8 months. Yet we wait for an appointment.

Agree'd about the dislike of the lawyer. It may have been like that in 2010, but I doubt it's like that now, I even really doubt it was like that then. Generally all the service centers do for K1 are to check that the paper work they asked for are in order including evidence. They aren't there to judge you or your relationship outside of making sure that you've actually met in the past 2 years, once you provide that, you're good to go as it's not THEIR problem if the country is high fraud, it's the consulate of a high fraud country.

Either way, it seems more that CSC is an overflow center. I don't believe anyone, if any, have been sent to the TSC since April 1st. If they have then that's sad =[

As for mine going CSC. We got lucky. Originally we were planning on doing it in Feburary, we wanted to do most of the papers together then finish up a little after he left, but instead my fiance wasn't able to come down til April, in which we filed then and got into CSC.

Before Aug 3, 2010, the petitions were mailed directly to the CSC or the VSC based on what state the USC petitioner resided. That is when they introduced the Dallas intake facility into the mix. It had nothing to do with what country the foreign fiance(e) resided in, and still doesn't So no, that is total bull.
