I LOVE LOVE LOVE white clam pizza .... very popular in the New Haven CT area (New Haven is also where the first pizza in the US was made).

I've had that too, in New London, CT. One of the things I really miss living here in TX is good pizza. I visit CT usually once a year and the first thing I do there is get a pizza. There is a place that makes an awesome garlic gormet pizza. It is on the border of Manchester and E. Hartford. I wish I could remember the name.

Hi Everyone,

Good luck on your immigration journey. What an interesting message thread indeed. In answer to the thread's question, my answer of the best pizza would be:

D and Ant's (made by both my husband and I) homemade pizza with lots of pepperoni (inside joke...;)). Served fresh out of the oven, over a candlelight dinner for two..mmmm.....

Ahh, pizza reminds us so many memories we had together....(L)

Darn, now I have a craving for pizza.....

Ant

Tell us about the best pizza you ever had.

That place was good. Also a littel Italian place in Einsedlerhof that had the best scampi I've eaten in a while.

But best pizza i ever had was a small place back in Utics NY near the zoo... owned by two old sisters that emmigrated to US from Italy and made their own sauces... their white pizza was the absolute bong!

Chicago style somewhere in Chicago. It's been a while.

Chicago has the best hot dogs too.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. No, was there a while ago. But I did get to meet the owners of a mexican place. Then nicked a huge margarita glass for my date that night.

YUMMMM

Best Pizza I ever had was from this little foodie shop in Glasgow Scotland... I believe it was called Shami Kebab House .. just a block or two from St Georges cross underground station.. on St Georges road.... .. Simple hole in the wall. but let me tell you... best dang pizza I ever had... .. Actually ordered a shrimp pizza. the crust was kinda like a cracker.. not like how we have it here in the states... it had a different type of sauce... vegitables.. mushrooms onion cheese.. pineapple and grilled shrimp... It was kinda sweet... never had one quite like it..

Here in the states.. there is a pizza shop here called Pietro's .. they have a killer vegitarian pizza. artichokes, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes spinich garlic ... mmm my mouth is watering.. think I know where I will go tomorrow.. ..
