IV Fee for DS-260 Waived?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if you still have to pay the IV Fee is your case gets expedited past the NVC stage?

Here's the thing: we DID get expedited past the NVC stage, and it happened before we had the chance to fill out the DS-260 form, let alone pay for it. Our interview with the embassy in Sydney, Australia is later this month... And we got the link from them to submit our DS-260 form online. Under "Fees" however, it says "N/A."

It's making me think we don't have to pay for it. And I'd like to assume that, but I also don't want to get to the interview and have our Visa delayed because it hasn't been paid for yet.

Is that IV Fee perhaps specifically put in place for the NVC to review the case... and if they're not, it's not applicable?

I am pretty sure you will pay your fees at the embassy.

There's no such thing as free in this process. LOL. Prepare to pay the immigrant visa fee at the embassy.

After the beneficiary receives the visa, there's another immigrant fee of $165 that needs to be paid via ELIS in the USCIS website. It's for the green card production.
