I heard that here in my country donald Trump have deported more than 4 people. an am really scared about trumps attitude. if it will affect our chance of getting our visas. what do you guys think or know about this

Trump isn't even President yet. He will take office on 20 January 2017. What he will do after that is uncertain at best because no one knows for sure what steps he will take and when.

but I heard that it is a source from al jazeera news.

anyways I knows dat he will be officially launched as a president by 20 January 2017 but when he become a president do you think it will affect our chance of getting our visas

highly unlikely.. the USA is apart of the UN and if Trump was to try and ban all immigrants from the country it would cause a whole lot of friction between the US and countries of the UN...also Trump wants to deport all 'illegal immigrants' (which is also unlikely to hapen), once your are entering the country legally you should be fine

Honestly, I have been wondering the same thing. And after a lot of anxiety and mini panic attacks and combing through different news websites, I think that the best thing we can do right now is to prepare and be ready for the interview when the time comes. We have done everything right. We waited. And we are looking to immigrate legally so don't think about it too much. Edited by jeharpatel31

lets not even get worried about it because life everything you have is God so if God said we will have our visas then trump anf any of his workers cant do anything. and despite we want to travel legally not illegally. so lets just pray everytin will be fine by the grace of God

if the visa bulleting moves like 7 to 8 weeks then all of us will have our interview dates at the end of this months to the first week of next month.

I pray to Allah for the bulleting to move 2 months because we are now tied of this waiting. may God help us all.

Hey guys,

Just adding my thoughts about fears on the trump administration's dealing with legal immigration. I think we need have no fears at all because the legal immigration laws are enshrined and governed by the US constitution. And he certainly cant touch that easily. So chill!

dont worry sandreu. trump cant do noting to our immigration cases because it is legal and he cant stop people entering in US legally

and whats your PD sandreu

hey, i know our immigration is legal but trump's 10 point policy includes

"10. Reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers, keeping immigration levels within historic norms."

Not sure with the credibility of this news site but check this out: http://qz.com/833906/president-trump-plans-to-make-getting-a-green-card-very-very-difficult/

That article was written Nov 10, 2016 and he prolly changed his mind.

It is aligned with his number 10 policy... I think during his campaign (i can be wrong) he told that he is thinking of freezing green cards for at least 1 to 2 years. Historically wise, America decreased green card issuance sometime 1921, 1924 to 3% and 2% quota respectively (the quota now, if i remember correctly is 7%)

so let's all be proactive.. i don't understand him either - I mean, he is immigrant and his wife is immigrant.. so better to prepare our mindset..
