I am new in this forum. PD is Sep16,2015. Case was approved January 13, 2016; recipient and NVC Case Number available. Still waiting for WL. How about you guys? Who else have Sep2015 PD? Please share your petition progress? Thank you, God bless us all??

Hello everyone!

just a quick clarification is needed! PLEASE HELP

i am in the process of filling out AOS for my husband who is currently residing outside of US. In the form I-864 PART 5 it states "add number of people you are sponsoring which in my case is 1 and then further down it states "are you married if so enter 1- well this increases my household size by 1 more. how do i answer the question correctly without making an error on household size?

please help

You would put "0" where it asks for "enter 1 if you are married" because you would be double counting your spouse. That part is for others who are petitioning for other than their spouse.

hello , Can you help me with something please? a friend of mine is about to send in his IV and AOS packet but his passport is going to expire soon. should he wait and renew his passport before sending in the documents or should he send in the one that he used when filling out the DS-260 form?

Since he already submitted his DS-260 form, it's better to include the copy of his current passport in IV package because NVC will be reviewing DS260 and the IV package together. Later on, once he renews his passport, he can provide his new passort number during interview appointment on ustraveldocs.com and take both old and new passport during the interview.

Yes I am here . we started the application on 23rd of February , got approved on 9th of July and sent to NVC , no news till now . The waiting is unbearable but we have nothing to do apart from waiting

My pd is 23 feb 2015 too. I got welcome letter on November 2015 and on June 3th my case was completed.

Did any changes on your status?

Hey, same here. My wife's PD is July 08, 2015 and we still didn't receive a WL. We moved in a new apartment and send the new address to NVC but didn't receive a confirmation so I'll call NVC today for more informations

WL received today. You can get your invoice number by calling them.

Is anybody here who has a priority date of September 30 2015? I received an email for the past 3months which reads, " local office received your case", and this was after I sent in the requested RFE document. May I know if anybody with this priority date had received approval. Thanks

Hey Anita,

My PD is 3Feb2015. My case was completed since Nov 215 and we are waiting to be current. Our status didn't changed. It wont judging that the vb is slow.. it might not even move or retrogress for Sept vb. Wait for Oct vb, we might see some movement. Meanwhile, keep yourself busy. We'd be current soon!
