I recently mailed my G-1145 E-notification form with a cover letter to the service center (California). I did this after receiving NOA. I did this cos I realized I should have sent the G-1145 form together with my I-130 package (which I sent a month ago) cos I need to get faster email notifications concerning my case. Is there anybody here who did the same? Do you think that can bring any problem for me?

How will you know if its in NVC?

You should have received some sort of communication from NVC. If not, then call them and quote them your USCIS case ref and petitioner & beneficiary names & Date of births. They should have a case ready for you by now.

It might create a slight delay since they have to now go through what u sent. It was not necessary though. Since u already got NOA1, you could just sign up at USCIS Check Status page for email or text alerts using your receipt number.

my PD is July 9th, 2015, CSC, F2A, still waiting for NOA2. Just checked the processing times in California Service Center, and now it says Oct. 2014 for processing times. It used to say 5 months. Anyone know anything about this?

That sucks, may be it is because lots of applications were transferred to CSC from other service centers in these recent months and majority of these transferred applications might have have 2014 receipt dates. But hope for the best, we have seen several recent approvals including mine from CSC within few months.

I am so dissaopinnted now=((( My PD is August =( why is it went that way???? ####### ? now we have to wait not 5 monthes but 1 year???? just for our petition to be approved and than 1 year and 6 monthes for NVC???????
