my case was approved Feb 19 2016. Yet to hear any updates from nvc! how long do I wait to get my WL ? thanks

When is your pd? NVC hasnt even started with 2015 priority dates yet, so you would be waiting a little bit long. My pd is 03feb2015 and i got my welcome letter last October.

Yea h it is very upsetting. I have noticed that the visa bulletin for April-May in previous years did the same thing. Then, it June it jumps alot. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

For example, in 2014 from April- May it didn't move and then jumped several months in May. Also in 2015, something similar happened.

So, I don't know if there is any truth to this, but lets just keep hoping that it happens for us!

Hello guys am new here. my wife filed for me. my priority date the 8/9/015. was approved and sent to the NVC the 6/01/016. after waiting for 30days to receive a call from NVC to no avail, am kind of confused. whats the way forward and what should I do. have waited for already 95days. please your advise. thanks

When I had my interview a few years ago I was asked the following question:

1. Name of the petitioner

2. Relationship to the petitioner

3. Address of the petitioner

4. Work of the petitioner

5. How did the petitioner got to the USA

Then I showed pictures and cards from my mother. They asked for birth certificate, police clearance and W2 form of my mother.

I was approved and got my visa after 2 weeks.

You would have to wait a little longer. NVC is only processing applications with priority date earlier than 15June2015. They will send your beneficiary a letter including the case number and invoice number. They will be sending your welcome letter 5 - 6 months depending on the visa bulletin. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,I am a new member.I was petitioned by my husband and my priority date is August 26th 2015.I received an approval notice in January 2016 stating that my application was sent to NVC for further processing.... Thanks to all for sharing your experiences and nice to meet you guys.
