Hi Carot,

We didnt send any receipt confirmation for our AOS & IV fee to NVC before, on our checklist, it was never asked too. However, we submitted our barcode that we got after paying AOS. You will get an Immigration Visa Alien Registration for IV fee that your beneficiary needs to take on her interview. Hope this helps!

Hope you are well. What kind of documents did u send to NVC in your check list. I am confused. There are too many documents in the WL checklist.

They are about the follwiing things in my check list.

Federal Income Tax Returns................. I have it and submitting it.

Form W2............................................... I have it and submitting it.

Evidence of income............................... Got the Job reference letter from Employer with salary confirmation.

Proof of relationship............................. I am Submitting My Marriage Certificate.

Proof of U.S. status............................... green card submititng.

Social Security Earnings Statement...... i don't have . What should i do now.

Proof of assets....................................... not applicable

Adoption documentation.......................not applicable

Hello everyone,

I am newbie here. I work here by using my F1 OPT since May 2015. My wife is green card holder and help me file I130 in 28 September 2015.

We received the notice(NOA1) in November 2015,which says the CSC received my I130 documentation in 8 October 2015.

So my priority date is 8 October 2015, is that correct?

Now I keep checking my status in USCIS website,but no any change. Just says my case is received. Is that normal? Has it been almost 4 months.

Is that possible to submit AOS file without I130 approvement when my PD become current ? Because My OPT status will expire October this year.

I really appreciate it if you could give any advice.

Hello James,

No you cannot submit AOS without getting approved from USCIS. AOS is NVC step and you still havent got approved from USCIS, wich after they approve your case, will send your case to NVC and they they take it from there and ask you to fill out AOS and all.

For CSC, the approval time is on an average 5 months.

So, wait for approval on your case from USCIS and after that since you are already in US, you can file adjustment of status to NVC.

And yes, your PD is 8th Oct 2015

Just want to check with anyone who might have experienced the same scenario.

I petitioned my wife where my 6 year old daughter is a derivative.

I just paid the AOS fee last week and noticed that in the IV Application Processing Fee portion of that fee screen, I can only see my daughter's name with payment status "NOT INVOICED". My wife's name is not there.

Anyone here who might have experienced or have seen the same? Appreciate some feedback.

Was your case transferred to CSC or was it there from the beginning?

It does not take more than 6 months for CSC to work on a case.

Call up USCIS and specifically ask whether they have the docs you sent with them, as chances are they might have lost them...Hope thats not the case for you, but have seen cases where USCIS have lost the docs sent and then there is no other way but to re-submit all and you get a new PD.

So, in order to just get clarified, please call up USCIS and specifically ask for proof that they have your docs and are working on it, as the agents themselves do not know if they have the docs as they just look into the system and read out whatever is there on it.

11 months is a long time for Approval...case with Feb PD have alrdy reached NVC stage.

Hope you get some positive response from USCIS.
