Is there any letter, either email or otherwise, that NVC sends to me, the petitioner after NOA2 and before WL??

Hi Carot12,

Yes! Really! :) On Facebook, she's from the Philippines. You can try calling NVC and ask for an update. When we were waiting for WL, the agent told us "Your case was reviewed last September 11 & you can expect your welcome letter in 42 days." along those lines. So when you call tell the agent "Please give me an update about our case."

Just got off the phone with NVC, finally, she has told me exactly what you have shared above, my case was reviewed in Dec 11& you can expect the WL in 42 days. Is this 42 business day or calendar day? May I know, when did you receive WL ? When did you process " choice the agent" and pay AOS fee?

Im so glad for you Carot12!! It feels great knowing there is progress and movement, right? I think it's calendar. I remember the agent saying expect the wl before 22nd of October. Our case was reviewed on the 11th of September and I got my WL on 15th of October. :) Congratulations and I hope you have a wonderful & magnificent 2016 with your family!

I dont remember getting any but my beneficiary got a mail.. the one that says no visa is available

So, I called the NVC today hoping that they would have a better reply. The young woman that I spoke with said that my case became current on December 11, 2015. I need to wait until the third week of January to receive my welcome letter, and to pay the fees.

This is becoming too much for me to bear. Why is it that other people have already received their welcome letters?

February 2016 Visa Bulletin is out. It only moved 31 days. September 1, 2014.
