hi my i 130 was approved in december 16 2015 pd august 24 2015, so when i will recieve my case number ? in same time whith the WL ?

submit DS 260 online : 25/08/2016

Congratulation for your approval. They say it usually takes 30 days for NVC to receive and assign a case number but we've seen the variance.

Start calling NVC around from first week of Jan for case number.

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Hey! Mailed our petition in September, the PD is 11 September, still waiting for approval. Judging from the receipt number, my case went to California. Spoke to the helpline today, they told me that the estimate for approval is 5 month. Hope to receive it soon. Still a little confused about the procedure. What are my actions, once NOA2 arrives?

On DEC 16 2015 my I130 was approved. I just recieved a status update txt and it stated this, " On DEC 22, 2015, the post office returned your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN as undeliverable. if you don't submite a online requise within 180 days from june 16, 2016, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application with fee." What does this mean??

so i submited a requise in DEC 22, 2015, so this problem will be affect my process in NVC (more waiting) i need your help. anybod had a same experience before , thanks

PD June 2015, have not heard anything since I-130 approval. Is this normal? When do you suppose we might get the NVC welcome letter go ahead to do the DS-260?

Yes, that is normal. You would get your welcome letter when your pd will be current in 5-12 months.

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

Hi Gagz,

I had the same experience. I paid my aos before I even got my welcome letter thus prompting the error message. Did you got your welcome letter already?

No. I haven't received it yet. I just check randomly and today saw this error message. Now what should i do?

Your pd is April? Congratulations! For my case, the issue was resolved after I got my welcome letter. Mine arrived sometime 12:03PST so wait a bit or call NVC and ask about it. Hope this helps!

No need to do anything, i also see the same message whenever i try to access the fee payment.

If you try to access the choice of agent, then it will say this case cannot be processed at this time.
