does it means 6mths from this date or when the petition files?My hubby was trying to call too but he didn't get thru.

@sony,

Yes, 6mths from this date but i will call them again in the 1st week of Dec as i read in the forum... Someone with PD a few days after us was advised from NVC that he may have WL next month.

I've been married to an American citizen she divorced me I went back home meet someone and got married I filled her I130 now my file has been transferred to my local office I've been waiting since June 18 thanks a lot

. Today I checked the ceac website and I got a new messages,

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov(English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

Anyone no what that means will I be getting welcome letter soon
