Hi

My wife filled my I-130.

My PD is March 17, 2015

My case is approved and got WL with NVC case number .

Just a quick question what is the expectation of moving the PD in next coming 4 months . When my PD will expected to become current ?

any idea ? ?

wow!!! congrats! your pd is march but you got your wl already. that's a good sign. ive been reading vb predictions and they predict next month would be june 24 if i remember correctly. i hope there would be a bigger jump since we, 2015 filers are getting our wl. ?

Sorry . I just received the letter from NVC about the acknoledgement of my case with case number. I thought acknoledgement letter and WL is the same :)

My spouse is LPR. I need to wait for my PD to become current.

But in November NOA2s should start rolling out for August Filers.

CSC used to be fast but not any more probably due to overload as it is receiving cases from other service centers as well. currently it is processing petitions relating to the month of October 2014.

Hello everyone, i'm new to the group just trying to get myself affiliated with the abbreviations?I filed my I 130 in June got approved about 3 weeks late then they sent it to NVC still haven't heard anything back yet , also don't understand how the visa bulletin helps with the time line

Welcome to the forum!

Current waiting period for F2a category is around 1.5 year so you still have to wait for a year or so. this is an estimate based on recent visa bulletins (VB). VB helps you to find if your priority date ( PD) is current ie whether visa is available to you. Recently another column has also been introduced in VB which indicates when you can submit visa application and related documents. This month's VB indicates that applicants with PD of March 1, 2015 can apply for visa. Since your priority date is June , it may take few more months before NVC contacts you.
