Hi All,

 

I need advice. I am LPR as of now.  N-400 Application is pending.

 

I filed I-130 for my spouse ( abroad ) in DEC 2015.  F2A Category. In Mid of May 2016- My I-130 was transferred from CSC to Local USCIS Office. Since then my I-130 is pending at Local Office. I made some SR and received a letter that I ( applicant) will  be called for Initial interview at local USCIS office. They cannot tell me when, they will do it. But they said they process the applications in timely manner. It's been 1.5 years since my I-130 is Pending. 

 

 

In May 2017 Visa Bulletin i see that my PD is after the DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS. Chart.

 

There are two charts for Family Based immigrant visas. First Chart has Cut-off Date before my PD which is 12/10/15- But the second Chart i mentioned above has cut off date AFTER my PD. 

 

As of now, My Case has not even reached NVC. I have not received any letter from NVC.  What should i do now ?

Mon 2017-03-13 Consulate Received

Wed 2017-04-12 Interview Date @7:30am

Wed 2017-04-12 Approved

Fri 2017-04-21 Visa Pickup

POE: JFK 2017-05-03

I did my interview today guys....everything went well:D:D

Questions:

Who is your petitioner?

How did your petitioner get in the US?

How long has your petitioner been in the US?

Where does your petitioner live?

Where does your petitioner work?

Have you ever been arrested or tried in a court of law?

 

Requested documents:

Affidavit and recent W2

Police certificate

lol i was nervous too but the process was pretty simpleton and i didnt have to wait long (under 2hours)

just be prepared for any question pertaining to the petitioner and your kids relationship to the petitioner. also, ensure you have all the documents requested, especially if you did not send an original copy to the NVC

Thank you. Wood they  have to show proof of relationship with the petitioner

they didnt ask me for any solid proof like photo and such ...just the questions
