Have you ever received a notification that your case has been transferred? I haven't and that makes me wonder if the processing times displayed on their website for field offices have anything to do with us whose cases are still at NBC. For example, my field office is Los Angeles and they are currently working on cases from February 2 2015. I applied November 2014 but have no idea where my case is currently :( Can I base a service request on information about my local office, without actually knowing if my case is there?

I just makes me so upset.

No response still to my last service request.

No response yet? hasn't it been like a month? :(

I read something somewhere (maybe it was in this thread?) that if your local office has passed your NOA date the case can be considered outside normal processing time, even though the case may be elsewhere. When I filed my first request NYC was still on October petitions; I'm hoping I get a different answer this time around since they're on December and our I485 was filed in November.

I have the same situation. I made the first request without responding from them. I made the second one and I even didnt get any email to tell me when I could get answer. I wonder if I should call them to ask or not.:(

Yeah, it's been a month and a day. They were supposed to respond by October 9th. Went to CVS today to have my picture taken so I can mail EAD/AP renewal soon. It kills me to know that by the time they renew my EAD, my I-693 will have expired and I'll have to undergo another full medical :/

Oh well. It's especially annoying seeing approvals for those who applied just 3-4 months ago. I'm happy for them but it's just not fair :(

My husband's I-693 expired in August. Just because it expired doesn't mean you'll get the RFE, it really depends on the adjudicator you get; some decide not to give the RFE (based on if you applied within a year of your medical? based on what they had for breakfast? based on their mood? who knows!) and some give the RFE.

Send that EAD/AP renewal asap; if you're working and your EAD expires before you get the renewal you have to stop working until you get the renewal.

Will send it in a few days, when I have everything ready.

Yeah, RFEs for medical seem completely random. 'What? No more coffee in the coffee machine??!? Thou shalt feel my wrath, you applicants!' *Sends dozens of RFEs that day*

I'm kinda tempted to draw hearts and daisies on my applications/cover letters, maybe that will soften them. Getting kinda desperate here, lol.

Just got the status update that the new card is being produced! No RFE!! I guess my adjudicator had a really nice breakfast

YAY GREEN CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!

Edit: Perhaps they took my service request seriously? You should try to do another one and mention that your local office is past your NOA date.
