ok, finally I received my green card by mail today ! 8 days for a "Priority Mail 2-Day™", it is not the more efficient but I will not complain ^^

Thank you everyone, it was very helpful for my soul to have news of your cases and know that I was not alone during this 16 months of this terrible journey

And I am happy to see that janet&adonis were finally approved. Congratulation ! There were not easy with you !

So... let's take 2 years of deserved rest before going through that again when time will be to remove our conditional status

What I thought was weird is that the officer kept some random photos from our photo album and kept all the copies of our insurance we have together.

The only crazy questions were:

1. why were you an hour and a half late?

2. to my husband: what proof of co-mingling did you bring

3. to my husband: why did you marry your spouse

4. to my husband: do you have any family here?

5. to my husband: what does your family say about you being in the U.S. without them? what do they say about your wife

6. to my husband: what is your relationship with your wife's kids?

7. to my husband: what was the amount of your motorcycle, what is the value?

8. to my husband: What is your date of birth?

9. to Me: in your own words why did you get married?

10. to me: what proof of co-mingling did you bring

11. to my husband: when did you last enter the u.s.

then she kept all of our insurance papers, took a copy of tax return for 2014, kept about 10-20 random photos from our album some were from the wedding, some were from our local park, some were from our vacation. Most interestingly she wanted photos that were us together, and then me with his family. She put those in a huge file.

Filed for AOS in Jan. 2015, got my NPIW in June 2015, wasn't expecting to hear anything for another 6 months. Is this what it says when I'm almost finished? I feel like this is too good to be true!
