Hi

I just received an email from the CSC stating that my card has been ordered and should be with me in 30 days.

Does this mean i have been approved.? I know it sounds obvious but that has been so quick that I am, understandably I think, a little suspicious.

I mailed my package in to CSC on about 6th Jan, went for Biometrics last week and today Ireceived this email

pplication Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On February 23, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

Anyone know if this is really good news or am I jumping the gun?

thanks

really? Oh wow!! Well that was quick then, took them less than 2 months, I am very impressed. In fact, the dealings I have had up to now with the CSC/USCIS have always been pretty good, I guess I am one of the lucky ones.

I don't see anything unusual about that:

First, California center seems to be one of the fastest,

Second, If there is no interview cases do not take long,

Third, biometrics results are available WITHIN 48 HOURS, unless there is a problem of some kind.

We had similar experience with AOS-

Filed in February 2005, there was nothing for 2 month, then in April we suddenly recieved with just a few days difference:

1) NOA

2) Biometrics appointment for beginning on May

3) Interview appointment for May 16th.

I was afraid biometrics will not be ready in time for an interview, since the appointment was like only 5 days before, but THEY WERE! And I was approved right there and got stamp in my passport and recieved greencard in two weeks, making the whole process just over 3 month long.

Few days ago we filed for removal of condition, let's see how that goes...

It does seem quick and unusual in comparison to a great deal of other people's experiences, and I am very grateful for the fact it has been so speedy. So I think I am right to be both pleased and suprised.

Thanks everyone for your congrats best wishes to all those who are waiting.

True, but don't forget what you also are from ENGLAND, it sure helps ;)

I can assure you that on average it takes a lot more time for someone from Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, because it will seem a lot more likely that the marriage is not geniune in those cases, hence interviews and all...

Few people run away from good old UK.

In any case- congrats.

I completely disagree with you in this one.

This is your right.

If you think they schedule interviews completely at random, by flipping an coin or something... sure.
