I just checked my mailbox and I received my GC !!!

On another note, I still haven't received my SS card. I did receive a letter from my local SS office dated on Nov. 27, 2015, which said that I should receive my card within 2 weeks, like I haven't waited enough. It's been a little over 3 weeks now if we add the 2 weeks, it will be 5 weeks! Ridiculous!

Hopefully, I will receive it asap. it's been already 5 days since letter was sent, so not a lot left :(

Congrats on your card...your ss local office sucks..I went to my SS local office to get my SS number a day after I applied for it. They gave me the number. I received the ss card after a week.

I just have my interview today...the IO lady was a bit nice...she interviewed my spouse separately for like 30 minutes...when I came in...it was more like a discussion to confirm all my spouse has said...she gave me a form to sign and told us about ROC...and keep saying if she approve us..we will get the card in the mail...I don't know what the decision will be...

Congratulations to all who have had interviews waived and green cards mailed out. I was hopeful something would change with my case soon but since EAD I've heard nothing and status is still the "fingerprint received" status. How can I find out if my local field office even has my case to check a timeline? How many of us August filers are left who have had nothing but radio silence regarding GC?

Definitely not the only one! There is truly a bunch of us. I haven't heard anything since the Sept 12th notification of "Ready to Schedule". It's only been 83 days since then and 116 since the process started, but hey who's counting? :clock:
I know how frustrating it is... I was hoping that USCIS would actually keep up with the speedy processing experienced by many for the past 6 months. Reality is, it'll probably fall back unto Murphy's Law and we'll have to wait whatever the average processing times are for our respective local offices.

My interview was on the 3rd dec and my status has not changed from interview scheduled. I had a pretty straight forward interview and the woman said she will approve it after running background check and looking into my medicals. How long do I have to wait for my status to change. Nervous that they may have a change of heart
