I received my welcome letter today. However, I still haven't received my social security card. I applied since November 10th. I saw that many received it within 7-14 days. It's crazy that the welcome letter came before my SSN.

:( It sucks because I want to work. I have my EAD but not SSN.

I checked my status today and it says "new card is being produced" it changed on November 27. Soon than I thought! :)

no txt, email or welcome letter so far.

Now just hope to USPS don't mess up this, like they are doing lately.

I received a potential interview waiver letter today, and that there is a 6 month delay in processing. So fingers crossed good news from everyone else means they are working.

Hi everyone! We recieved a potential interview waiver letter today that also stated there was a 6 month delay. There still hasnt been any status change online from "fingerprint recieved" but any news is good news :)

You need to contact your local SS office about that, as it should not take this long to receive it and there may be an issue.

I would just like to know that something is being done, that it's being looked at or at least where it's at in the gran scheme of the process. I hoped to have an interview before Christmas, but that's looking less and less likely.

Thanks, I was thinking about calling tomorrow if I don't receive it. I thought maybe because of Veterans day and Thanksgiving day that it might have delayed it bit, but it's been almost 20 days now. She did say it can take up to 4 weeks. However most people here have received it within 2 weeks if not less, it's a bit unusual and kind of stupid because I received my Welcome Letter from Immigration office, but no SSN? :/

Congrats to all! We received and interview date for December then a week later it was cancelled and haven't heard anything else since. I hope they just waive it but an update just so we'll know would be great. Congrats to you all! :)

November 18th 2014 - I-129f Submitted

November 24th 2014 - NOA 1

May 22nd 2015 - NOA 2 - no RFE!

June 4th 2015 - Case Sent to NVC

June 6th 2015 - NVC receives case

June 15th 2015 - Case Sent to Embassy

June 16th 2015 - Phoned NVC and finally got case number (tried 12th June and had not been assigned)

June 16th 2015 - Medical booked

June 21st 2015 - Sent Packet "3" - DS 160 and readiness

July 28th 2015 - Interview - Approved!

August 3rd 2015 - Email request to collect from courier office (Went straight from "Ready" to "Issued" did not see AP in CEAC)

Congrats to everyone who got there interview scheduled or received there GC. there are only handful of people who dosent have there interview dates including me.. Hopefully we all get done either by Dec Or Jan and move on with our lives.

Well that is weird. They scheduled interview then cancelled it and now I just got an email saying they are sending an RFE. I can't imagine what it will be. Now i'll be a nervous wreck until we get the letter.

Hello All :)

Congratulations to all of you who have cases moving forward! As for us, my husband is now working, YAY! Nearly 3 weeks now I think, and he is enjoying it!

As for our case, it is now 63 days since USCIS have received our RFE response, and there has been no update :( Not sure if that's good or bad! I don't want to put in for a service request since I have heard some say that their cases were delayed even longer by doing so. Not sure that's exactly correct, but I don't want to chance it.

For those still waiting on some good news like we are, I hope it comes soon!

We were approved! We received the notification via mail. I hadn't even been checking because I expected it to take much much longer. So I checked the case status to make sure we weren't dreaming. I guess his interview was waived. It says the card has been mailed now!
I'm so excited I don't even know what to do. We've been a late approval with most everything so far, so to have this happen so fast blew my mind.
He's now working, has a SSN, has a driver's license, and should have his green card in hand in a week or so.

Can someone tell me what our next step will be? I had been prepared to wait so long I don't even know what comes next.

Interview Is Scheduled

On December 2, 2015, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSC**********. Your interview is on January 12, 2016. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by January 1, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

We are soo excited! Now hoping more interview notices come in for those waiting :)
