Congrats to you! Just shows us miracles can happen. Maybe we all get a green card for Christmas ?

Thanks! My husband's status did go from fingerprint received to new card in production. We did not get any communication about the interview being waved. I honestly could not believe it. These were the statuses for the greencard:

11/3/15 - We ordered your new card

11/6/15 - We mailed your new card to the address you gave us.

11/10/15 - We approved your Form I-485, Application to register permanent residence

wow! Congrats! Hopefully ours will come before Christmas :D

I got an update that I have an interview, but still no date yet. I wish it was waived though :(

Well sadly we didn't get our interview waived. I swear it is just random and dependent upon where you live. We got notice that we have an interview scheduled on December 17th so now I have to read up so I know what to bring and how to prepare. Any suggestions or links you guys?

Yes it's completely random. You should bring proof that you live together and intermingling of finances - lease, joint account statement, gym membership contract, etc.

do you have life insurance and listed him as your beneficiary? if he has a social security number then you could add him. Do you have any bills with both of your names on it?

I do have him on my health insurance and stuff at work I could use that. And no I didn't add him to my bills because I own my own home and it's not easy to just add someone lol

Yes that's good.

I just checked and my local field office is now working on March 18, 2015 for I-485 forms! It was December 2014 before so it's great that they are moving faster now. You should check processing times for your field office they might have changed!
