It's been almost a month since they got my RFE and no news about interview! ?

I'm in the same boat. I'm not counting on hearing anything until sometime next year. During an Infopass prior to filing AOS USCIS said to expect Green Card around our 1 year wedding anniversary (August) so that's what I'm preparing for. Makes it easier to deal with the complete silence from USCIS.

My husband received this email this morning. His greencard is in the mail! On 11/3 the card was in production and the notice below says the card was mailed out on 11/6. I hope this is a good sign for everyone that's doing this AOS process!

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: MSC*******

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On November 6, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSC*******, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by December 6, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Congrats!

THANKS EVERYONE!

My husband and I were told that the greencard would take at least 8 months. You never know! I do believe now that there is no real timeline for how USCIS processes applications. We filed for the greencard 8/24/15 and it's in the mail to us now. I wish I knew why or how our aos was processed so fast. It would be good to know.

I think it's hard to predict when as we all go to so many different processing centers for all our applications. Looking at timeline predictions for AOS is impossible because barely anyone fill out their timeline. K1 people are slightly better at it because they've been drilled to do it since they joined VJ and others have no clue. But the stats are also slightly harder to understand compared to the K1.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully we will see other people get their greencards without the interview. I am still in total shock! Boston processing times for AOS is at least 7 months.

Congratulations!!! This is really great to see!

What was your case status like before the new card update?? Did it change from fingerprint received straight to new card in production? Was there any notification about waiving the interview? Sorry for all the questions- I'm invested and constantly perplexed by USCIS as you can imagine! Thanks so much for keeping us updated!

At what point does our case for AOS move to the local office? Is that after biometrics? Or is it just NBC organizes biometrics and our AOS is already at the local office?

Same question...

USCIS received our RFE reply 9/28/15 (45 days and counting) and we haven't heard anything back from them. I have no idea if they still have our packet or if it's been moved to our local office.

Yeah ours was from 08/20/15 and it still only says fingerprint fee received. So we don't know if it's still there or at the local office or what. Or if we will have an interview or no interview, we haven't received anything yet. No RFE or anything it only says that.

Thanks! My husband's status did go from fingerprint received to new card in production. We did not get any communication about the interview being waved. I honestly could not believe it. These were the statuses for the greencard:

11/3/15 - We ordered your new card

11/6/15 - We mailed your new card to the address you gave us.

11/10/15 - We approved your Form I-485, Application to register permanent residence
