I am planing to go oversea on Feb and I was hoping that everything could be done within this year because I need to plan for my work and find the lowest fare tickets possible. Having work permit is not make any different to me. I just feel like I am waiting and waiting more annoy than impatient.

As long as you filed for Advance Parole, you can leave the country using your EAD/AP combo card. It shouldn't be an issue with your travel plans?

Don't give up hope just yet, you may still get an interview before the end of the year. You could also still apply for Advance Parole (it wouldn't cost you anything) so that you wouldn't have to give up hope on the trip altogether.

Good News!! My husband received the below email notification this afternoon! I couldn't believe it when I saw the email. It is also updated on the website. We thought there was some type of mistake and called customer service which told us that the Greencard will arrive within 30 days. I guess that means our interview has been waived! We were originally told that Boston and other major cities take a longer time to process the AOS due to volume. As of 8/31 they were processing AOS applications from 1/1. I'm hoping this is a good sign and that others will have their interviews waived too.

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: ************

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On November 3, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number ************, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Congrats! That's really fast if you just filed in August. It's is Memphis but they haven't sent it there I don't think yet I'm not sure. So maybe ours will be the same.

Thanks! I was really shocked. I kept reading the email over and over again and looking at the update online because I couldn't believe it! I thought the next step would've been waiting for an interview. I'm definitely not complaining but this is the first really great experience that I've had with USCIS.

It would be nice if everyone in this thread could update their timeline (the actual one not the signature). It would be nice to easier keep track of where people are in this process. Some people go on VJ on the phone (I do sometimes though it's rare) and when you do, you can't see signatures. And some has no timeline, actual or in signature.
