That may be the Approval letter We got that letter a day or two before the EAD was delivered, so it will come separate.

That's good. No one said they got approval letters, so I was beginning to worry that maybe my card was misplaced. Annoying this is taking so long to get here when everyone got them within a few days of the approval texts/emails. Is it purely because I'm so far away in California? Ah well, c'est la vie.

Update:

After my husband received his EAD card on 10/21/15, we went straight to Social Security to apply for number. We were unaware that it was best to wait a few days for SAVE (electronic program used to verify information between immigration and other agencies) to update his information before applying. After worrying that we had caused a delay for ourselves, we went to Social Security office yesterday 10/23/15 to see if we could request his number in person (they no longer do this by the way) but the lady that helped us did look into the system and verified that everything came back just fine and that his card had already been done and mailed out the same day we applied for it!! Thankfully she said it should be here Monday or Tuesday

LOL! I didn't even think about forgetting to mention about the approval letter! I guess we all just got to excited waiting for the actual card! I think it would take a bit longer due to you being way out there, but not by much. You will recognize the envelope right away when you see it

The wait between the biometrics appointment and the EAD approval was eternal, but it is finally here !!

After 2 days of receiving my EAD I went to the Social Security office and request my SS Card smoothly. The officer told me that it would come in the mail within two weeks.

Now the waiting for the appointment for the green card begins. bI have not had any RFE but my case has not changed since the first day (Fingerprints fee and your case was accepted recieve)

I'm from Houston and my case went to the office MSC.

I hope my TL is useful for something. I want to know who are in a similar situation.

Any early August fillers already have their interview appoiment?

Anybody from Houston has his/her interview soon?

Congrats! I am a late august filer and still no update on EAD card, since Biometrics in September. I expect it to take at least 2 more weeks the wait is so long for the EAD.

Since October 1st, my status says that I'm ready to be schedule for an interview....

My case is at MSC too, priority date is August 10. I'm in Dallas. The "Case Is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" notice went up on September 12.

Based on average expectations/experiences of others, I'm hopeful to see something in the mail about a month after approval of the EAD (which was 10/15) -- that would be mid November.

Until then, SS# request, and from there a lot of other things to keep me busy

So frustrating, expedited my EAD, sent evidence on 16th October and then sent it again on 21st for luck and still no case update. Phoned USCIS and they say their systems don't log incoming faxes in general so they have no idea if they have received what I faxed or not - *head slap*. Apparently I just have to wait. Supposed to start my job a week on Sunday and they said they couldn't do anything to help me apart from just waiting.

I woke up this morning and checked my husband's case status online at 7:10. The status hadn't changed. At 7:30 I received 2 text alerts that my case was updated. I logged back in the USCIS site to check for the EAD and the status changed to: "New card is being produced". My husband and I are sooooo happy! Our application was received on August 24th.

Just got an update....

On October 23, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSC**********, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by November 22, 2015, please go towww.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Can't wait to get the EAD card.
