First let me say thank you again to everyone here, and I hope that everyone's dream of completing the nightmare visa process will soon be over.

I have tried to contact the Bangkok Embassy many times in regards to my wife 221g that she received during the interview.

They simply requested documentation, and her passport.

1) My dads passport (to help meet financial criteria, and to prove hes a us citizen)
2) My 1040 for 2014
3) List of addresses I have lived.

Her interview was on June 22, we sent the documents June 23rd, and They received them June 24th.

My wife is 7 months pregnant now, and we are hoping something happens soon. I have contacted congress people, NVC, embassy in Bangkok, State Department, everyone to explain the urgency. I have even made an appointment for the American Citizen Services Division so I can plead this case.

However this week strange things have been happening. Every Day now, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of this month, the updated status on our case has changed to this date. But still say administrative processing. Could this be a good indication? What should I expect? Is there anything else I can do right now?

Thanks everyone a million!

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I spoke with an attorney that advised against going. He has restructured all of my paperwork and said everything should be fine. He told me that whenever they ask for documents he has always been successful by sending the requested documents, previous documents and all related documents. The embassy workers refuse to look into the computer. They base their decision on whats sitting in front of them.

hmmm.

IMO, you'd get more done during an ACS appointment, as you'd be speaking to a Vice-Consul. Many times, the Vice-Consul you'll speak to is also on the IV Team and has no problems to walk into the back area and pull the casefile.

'Embassy Workers' are not USCitizens, usually they cause the most delay in the process after the interview.

ok, sorry, i thought you were still in country.

If you engaged with an Immigration Liason Staffer at a Congressman's office, then it's time to recheck in, today, via telephone. You aren't seeking status, instead you are seeking to learn why the casefile is stalled after you submitted the stuff requested on the 221G.

I totally agree. However the attorney has put all of the paperwork together and he said he is going to make a few phone calls as well. He believes within a week or a week and a half we should get the approval. Every last piece of evidence, information, etc will have been provided 4 different times, and now a 5th by the attorney. My wife is 7 months pregnant and if we miss the flights leaving bangkok on August 31st, then will hit the fan. Not only will I be calling the congresswoman and senators on a daily basis, but I will go for multiple in person interviews. I was gonna go in today, but i fear that maybe they get pissed off like I am trying to circumvent the rules. So I am playing ball one more time, by a well known and professional attorney with great reviews. If we get pounded in the rearend again, then I know there is more BS then what meets the eye.

I had to visit the hospital and get Xanax for my anxiety in this case. I have never used medications, I am not a drinker. My mother as a nurse said some people use xanax but you need to see a doctor. The doctor gave them to me but they are barely helping. I can understand stupidity, i can understand mistakes, but I can not understand their processes here? I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but I can't imagine it is that hard?

ok - maybe you are venting, instead of seeking advice on what to do... good luck, what ever transpires next.

I am sorry if I came off that way. I definitely accept everyone's advice. However the attorney is costing me at this point. If that doesnt work then I will move on to the next plan.

But I do value everyone's input. I just truly feel as though these people are very touchy and anything that would seem to try and circumvent or force them to do anything could ultimate destroy what I am trying for. I just dont want to take that chance. Step by step.
