May 12, 2014 - Case recieved at Chicago, IL.

May 13, 2014 - Case accepted. Received LIN#. Case forwarded to USCIS, Nebraska. i-797 hard copy received shortly after.

Just send an email to "NVCExpedite@state.gov" and state your reason. My reason was waiting too long ..


We all should do the same and see if this will light a fire ..

Well called NVC and still no joy. The agent did say oh you have been waiting for a while. LOL

I have to think it's coming in the next wave - we haven't seen any appts issued since early April.

you might be right. my friend got interview letter around april. and the interview was two days ago. they are waiting for visa.

Good News - Status changed to In Transit as of this afternoon 31 Aug 2015 - called NVC for the interview date and they said the consulate will contact us? I guess I will wait for the dust settles and call back tomorrow perhaps the system needs to catchup. I expect we should receive an email in a few days too.

So...I checked my NVC case that hasn't been updated in like...a year. I called the NVC multiple times, as we all do for the interview date and they said my case has been completed and waiting for the interview date. I got the letter too stating that but everytimes I check the NVC page...this shows up. Does anyone have similar problem? This is kinda scares me.

3 n/a means you are good, waiting for interview date.
