If you go with K-1, I think you can marry in a different state. A state that allows cousin marriage. But, maybe someone else can chime in to confirm or not.

Well, that would be a question you should be asking her. Is she willing to move to a different state, possibly get a new job, new place to live so you two can be together?

sure ! domicile, job, monies, etc etc, but she has some time, as the I-134 (for a k-1 visa) is evaulated on Visa Interview Day (almost the last step in the process).

Can she handle being alone for up to 14 months?

Also, don't forget, there has to be a pile of evidence submitted that you two have met face to face prior to actual petition submittal.

I have been enlighten a lot in this forum.

Well, I guess if she has to leave her state then it would be better to come to my country, get married and live together until CR-1 is approved.

But would the state of Ohio disapprove this marriage since we are cousins?

Certainly living together as husband and wife is most important, but if we can live in the US it would be better future for our kids.

Which State will you get married in, then? You'll need to find one where it is both legal and you can both meet whatever specific state requirements there may be. You'll have to research that, too.

Also, have you met face to face?
