Thank you everyone here!!! after reading through the WIKI, I have some questions and I want to see if I am right or not.

My husband in the US received NOA2 by mail on 2/13, but dated on 2/5 . (No email or USCIS website update tho) He called NVC yesterday to see if they have received our case and they said not yet. Just planning to call every other day. I am now just preparing docs.

My questions:

- I wonder AOS you guys are talking about that should be done by my husband, the petitioner. (YES or NO)

-As the beneficiary, I can only gather docs for IV package for now. (YES or NO)

-I also looked into the DS 260 sample form on wiki ( which should be filled by the beneficiary) asking where the green card should be sent to. Do I have to obtain that in order to enter the US or after the interview I will use another visa to enter the US???

Just a bit anxious these couple weeks . Thank you everyone.

Yes,AOS should be filled by the petitioner.

-As the beneficiary, I can only gather docs for IV package for now. (YES or NO)

Civil Documents such as Police Certificates, Marriage Document, Birth Certificate, 2- Passport size photos of the applicant should be collected and be ready. Does not hurt to Look at the DS -260 sample form as well. since its online you can only see a sample of it.

I would Suggest to checkout this link to get more in depth knowledge while waiting for the welcome letter for NVC.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved.html

-I also looked into the DS 260 sample form on wiki ( which should be filled by the beneficiary) asking where the green card should be sent to. Do I have to obtain that in order to enter the US or after the interview I will use another visa to enter the US???

Not sure whether you can or can not migrate to US without the green card. It would be better if someone else could answer this question who has gone through this process already.

Just a bit anxious these couple weeks . Thank you everyone.

your husband will do both packets. He needs to send them together. At interview you will need The originals. He will send copies to nvc. I had my husband scan his birth certificate and his police clearance to me to send for the packet. I also enclosed translations but some embassies u don't need them. I did just incase.... so for now, go get your police clearance done. Have it ready to scan to him with some other items listed. Good luck..

We are waiting our case complete......

got my NOA2 mail on 2/13 but dated 2/5 so I asked my husband to call NVC - 603-334-0700 every other day, NVC still said they haven't got our case ...what take so long?

I see you got your case number after 10 days getting your NOA2. I wonder if that is the number to call.
