OMG!!! Just got the NOA2 approval notice!!! Yay TSC??

Omg seeing your husband came with good luck! Congrats!

Does anyone suggest things we should do or have already ready once its sent to NVC? The only thing I have put aside was the money for the fees but other than that i dont have anything ready. I just want to turn everything in ASAP.

you can get I-864 ready with all the paper work, ask for your tax returns, find a place to live, get a job (if you are in any of those cases) etc...

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut#1._NOA2_-_Petition.28s.29_Approved_Notice.28s.29_from_USCIS:

  • Completed I-864 signed
  • Original Employment Letter
  • Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2 and/or 1099 (any source of income) <--Preferred by NVC
  • Most recent federal tax return (all forms, optional)
  • Copy of PAY STUBS for current year (showing how much money you have made year to date, optional)
  • SPONSOR: I-864 + all above documents for sponsor. Each sponsor that lives in the same household as the petitioner, should use I-864a, instead of I-864
  • Make 2 extra copies of this package. Send 1 copy to the beneficiary

I just got an email from nvc that they are far behind schedule because of all the applications they need to deal with and to wait around 30 days to deal with our file. We send last week our I-864. So when you receive NOA2, waiting gets harder. I waited 5 weeks between NOA2 and our IIN.

I cant believe I'm stuck in Nebraska which is the slowest office ever

I know right!! My such a blessing☺️.... Now the wait for case to be received and processed at NVC begins.

I have been working at my place of employment for so long- I do not have my employment letter... I guess I could request a copy- but I doubt they would have the original
