Hi all I just logged in just now to see the following:

"On November 10, 2015, we transferred your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number SRXXXXXXX, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by December 10, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I have no idea what this means to my case, or if anyone else has gotten it. I was in the texas service center that i have heard takes forever, hopefully this means my process will be quicker? ughh i just want that letter now to make sure everything is ok

is this what an RFE looks like?

It happened the same with mine today...

Worried? I´m!

I just wrote to my lawyer and lets see what he will answer...

Let´s think positive, and try to be calm... :)

Just to let you know and make you less worried:

My lawyer said that sometimes (or more than sometimes, is kinda common) they do that to make a division at the work load and there´s no worries with that.

I was just thinking by myself if I have to start my couting down days back again or keep it going...

Let´s look by the good way: we were at the worse processing office (worse in waiting time) and from now, we can receive our NOA2 faster because it is in another office.

Right?

;)

Thats the silver lining, I was worried about texas, but we have no stats on this new office. Hopefully our file doesnt get shuffled in with others that filed after us or something haha.

Well, I knew that normally they transfer those cases which ones they didn´t started yet, but the intent is to make things faster.

I still don´t know where is mine too!!

If I could choose... National Benefits Center is the faster!!!!

Who knows? Maybe we will be the lucky ones! ;)

And my situation is different and it could be that they transferred mine to be together with my I-212 (that I filled before the I-30 get ready, because I was simply removed and with no mispresentation or any kind of crime).

Ahhhhh, I´m hopefull!!!

(now taking some antidepressive drugs and not so sad anymore!)

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

My case was transferred today too

Don´t worry, they are just working with our cases to try to make them faster!

Hey guys,

we got our case number from NVC on November 3rd, paid AOS fee and submitted DS261. The IV fee is still locked. I keep calling them to unlock it, but they keep telling me that our case is still new that is why it's locked in the system and they can't get in to review the DS 261 until it's unlocked. Has anyone had this happen? How long did it take to unlock the IV fee after paying the AOS fee?

Hello! We paid AOS last November 9 then NVC emailed the invoice for IV last November 10. When I checked the system it was already unlock.

I'm an August filier and my case was transferred on November 10. Does anyone know where we are being transferred to?!

I got my letter today. I'm being transferred to a new office in Virginia to speed things up.
