1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2015-09-22: NOA2; USCIS approval & sent to NVC (21 days from NOA1)

2015-10-14: Case received by NVC (Found out this date on Oct 19th via phone) (22 days after NOA2)

2015-11-15: Received NVC Welcome Letter (Letter dated Oct 30th)

2015-12-11: Received IV and AOS invoices

2016-02-02: Mailed payment for both

2016-03-23: Started re-establishing my US domicile & joint sponsor

2016-05-30: Finally got all my documentation of domicile and sponsor financial information, sent off IV/AOS email

2016-06-14: NVC requested a new copy of applicant's birth certificate - we sent the "short" one instead of the "long" one - my mistake!

2016-07-08: 3 N/A's!!!

2016-07-13: Received the NVC "case complete" e-mail

We are going for the k3 (I know, I know... But I swear I didn't know it was obsolete when our lawyer recommended it). Anyway, our i-129f status was changed to RFE today, but our i-130 is still just received.

No idea what's going on... But it's SOMETHING.... Maybe.

Hi All, August has been a slow month, but i think approvals are rolling in. I had a priority date of August 14th, California, and just received my NOA 2. Last night got an email it was approved. So those of you who have your dates around that time for California should receive it soon.

I also noticed the California Priority dates are back to 50-60 days. Thats a good sign.

Our date of receipt for our I-130 was August 7. Today our lawyer got the hard copy of an RFE for our I-129f. It is frustrating because they are asking for our G-325A (which of course our lawyer said he sent) and another set of passport photos (which he also said we already provided). I'm beginning to wonder... :-/

He also said that if we get the photos to him quickly that we will only lose about a week on this RFE. When you respond to an RFE does your case resume immediately? Or are you in the back of a line or stack of cases again?

Also, this RFE is for our k3 (I-129f), not our CR1 (I-130). The status for the I-130 is still just "received".

I know things are changing, especially with what is apparently the new "Potomac" center. Is it possible that a k3 might actually happen?

I know we all want our loved ones with us so much, but I'm hoping so intensely for this even if it seems hopeless because I need my husband here so very much. I am the only caregiver my mother has since she lost her Hospice nursing aides, it's 24/7 intense care and I have nothing left each day for our kids and "everyday & household" chores. I just don't know much longer I can go on without him.

Sorry if that's too much information... I'm just so overwhelmed by all of this and the waiting, and I know this is one of the few places to find people who understand what I'm feeling.

Really? I saw posts here of people saying their case was transferred to the Potomac center. They were either from the July or August forum here (those are the 2 I follow).

I can't even visit. :-( there's no one else to care for my mom, so I can't be out of the house for more than ababout 2 hours at a time. I'm grateful I was able to go to him last month, just before hospice care ended, but that is the last time we will see each other until his visa is approved. :'-(

im in the same boat, its expensive to fly to see him, i just booked a flight to see my husband during thanksgiving break so it wont interfere with my job. I miss him terribly... couple of days is better than nothing.

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

June 23rd case was touched by embassy

August 1st case was touched again.

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

APPROVED
