Hello Im a September I 130 filer though i know this is for August filers. But i can see people are more active in here so thought of posting here. Received my NOA1 on 16th september with I 797C and it was being sent to Nebraska. Now that Im seeing Nebraska is the slowest, Im scared. Anyone knows their approval rate like do they deny alot?

Average time for Nebraska is 6 months. Once they start working on your case they will make several requests about the Petitioner's background. Everything depends on how fast these authorities respond. If you have a common name it takes longer. I was waiting for my NOA 2 for 8 months.

Really? I hope not. Is this typical of NSC or is this something that happened to you. My friend was delayed in her visajjourney because they did a background check on her (petitioner) and I hope this isn't common practice. We started our immigration "experience" in 2012 (k1 now cr1). I really want smooth sailing and no more delays. Has anyone else seen this as a pattern of behavior for Nebraska?

Been busy lately.. Hubby got 6 days off from work and went to Philippines to surprise me before the birth of our 2nd baby. We filed our paper last August 25th then NOA1 on August 26th, Nebraska Service Center. Then found out we got approved (NOA2) last September 24th. Yay!! God bless everyone! Waiting for the next step

Seriously feeling like I need to attend a support group through this waiting period?... I miss my hubby so much. I will see him in a month and a few weeks? (but only for a couple of days?)... Praying that TSC would hurry up- it's dead silence for TSC filers it seems??.... I'm just venting, I know most of us here are in similar positions...though I tell myself he'll be here soon, it's not soon enough ??. Thank God for Skype and Google hangout, geeez.. Anyhow, I know by next thanksgiving he'll be here, so keeping the hope for a speedy approval alive.

So I can´t help how anxious (and about to panic) I am and have decided to call USCIS in order to hopefully reach an attendant who´d answer my questions about how they deal with priority dates.

Oh well, I did reach an attendant but it just made me more concerned. He didn´t want to disclosure what their criteria to process I-130 is because I am not the petitioner and that´s ok, I understand he can´t bend the rules but he told me that he could help me with my general question: which priority date CSC is currently processing for CR-1/IR-1 to which he answered me "Oct. 7th, 2014".

I asked him to repeat it and he did say Oct. 7th, 2014.

Can that be correct? I am so confused.

Yeah... I know what you all mean...

I´m starting to be sick... Working hard and anxious, anxious, anxious... Gastritis, dermatitis, shingles, sleeping disorders... and It has been just a month that I received the NOA1 and I´m like this already...

But my case I have the I-212... and last week the USCIS sent it back simply because someone there din´t read that is for a permanent resident and not for a tourist visa, wich cannot be sent to the POE... My lawyer went to the USCIS office in Pittsburgh and they asked themselves why it happened and said: Ok... fill it back again... :ranting:

So... at least it didn´t came back again... but I lost 2 weeks... 2 weeks more far away... :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

California! But I wasn´t convinced with his answer and googled, googled and googled a little more. Turns out that it is a priority date indeed, but it applies to permanent residents filing to their spouses.

Thank you very much adaniel... Many times I see that I´m struggling and I´m hurting even my husband... We skype everyday and he´s so worried...

But I´ll get over it... I think it is like this now, because I´ll have to wait more 2 months to see him again... :(

I´ll pray for you too...

Thank you very much for your words :)

Im sure that applies yo permanent resident fillung to their spouses cause everywhere its showing they are doing forms from around July 2015. As far as I know its the fastest and you are lucky. Cause heard Nebraska and Texas are the slowest ? anyways all the best and i think you should call them up again and ask.
