Thanks, ckibs! Even better news (I hope), her appointment has been moved up to...the 17th! Looks like we now have the same interview date. :-) Wow. Now, I'm suddenly nervous! She still has to pick up her medical packet and tomorrow is a holiday - hope it's ready by Friday. Otherwise, we should have everything needed.

Haha I'm really nervous too! So close, yet so far away :) Is her interview in November or December? My interview is on the 17th of December :)

You have to get a flu shot during your medical exam according to US standards I guess since it's flu season when we'll fly in. At least that's what I was told at my medical exam.

You're correct about the reason for having to get the flu shot. Hope you're not sick too long from it.

"why did you decide to get married in the US, why not marry here in Ecuador?" and "Did you buy her an engagement ring?" the lady said we were approved. we were so happy to hear that we were approved and glad that this part of our journey is over.

We just got our interview date at the London embassy on Saturday. We waited about 3 weeks for the appointment and his interview is November 24.

was your 3 week wait from submitting your READINESS form until you got the interview date by letter??

then about 2.5 weeks from getting the letter until the actual interview??

just trying to anticipate when ours will arrive :)
