Hi again guys. Do I have to provide a police report for myself as the American citizen for the interview?

Nowhere in the K1 process are there any requirements for police record from the petitoner, I guess at some point they would have conducted their own.

Thanks for the reply, so I guess all the documentation is for the foreign person. The directions state all applicants. I assume I am not an applicant so I can stop getting all of the same documentation for myself as the American citizen.

No need for you to have the same kind of documentation as your fiancé. The US government have many data bases that they can tap to review your police records but the same cannot be said about those from other countries.

You don't need the same documentation. You're the Petitioner; your fiancée (as well as any children) is the Applicant.

Check ur embassy page on top, to see what they usually send. Seems weird to me.

All K1 applicants must undergo a medical including your country. You should read the Consulate Information page for your country http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Venezuela&cty=Caracas . This lists in detail what's required for the packet and even is written not to expect an email with this. This page also links to the embassy's page and from there I found all the info you need should know about the medical in your country http://caracas.usembassy.gov/information-concerning-the-medical-examination-and-vaccines.html .

I feel so disappointed in the Embassy in Riyadh. We were sent packet 3 on October 4th and we gathered all the required documents for the interview including the medical and PCC and sent what they wanted back to the embassy to let them know we're ready. We sent by express mail on October 7th and they didn't even collect their mail from their P.O. Box until the 19th. After annoying them with emails because we were worried they confirmed they have all the documents they need from us and to wait until we're contacted. I don't know why they are taking so long to set an interview date. This is worse that waiting at any other stage of this visa process . Other embassies seem to sort this out very quickly, but not in Saudi Arabia.

Thank you all for your assistance. I should have searched the embassy website first. I just get so nervous with the process I start worrying about things and forget my available resources.

We just got our interview date at the London embassy on Saturday. We waited about 3 weeks for the appointment and his interview is November 24.

After a bit of "miscommunication", we have an interview date. December 9th was the earliest available. A little delay, but we're moving forward, again. :-)
