Be careful have a ticket just in a day after the interview. when visa is granted it takes some time to process and issue. Last year I was waiting for the passport to be returned for a week after my tourist visa was approved.

Interviewed is scheduled!!! She goes on November 18th. If she gets it, she's gonna fly over on November 20th!! Wow!!! I can't believe we're at this stage. ?

Hey thanks for the support and well wishes!

She elected to have her pick up her visa instead of having it delivered. I was saying "if" she gets her visa the day of or after she would be flying to the U.S. on the 20th. Now of course we both understand that she has to 1 get approved and 2 have the visa in hand before we can make any kind of travel arrangements.

She and I both agree that we won't make any definite plans, until she has the the actual visa.

Will my fiance need the actual NOA2 letter for his interview and at the port of entry into the states? I sent him a copy of it in the package with my I-134 form. What originals will he need of mine, besides everything with a signature (I-134, letter of intent, etc.)?

Has anyone else had to contact the embassy themselves after receiving NOA2?

Our case was forwarded by the NVC a month ago now and still we haven't heard anything about from the embassy. We have our case number but at our embassy, it isn't allowed to schedule the interview before the embassy has contacted you.

I sent an e-mail out to the embassy today to see what's up. I was just wondering if it was normal for them to take so long to contact us or if anyone else also had to contact the embassy themselves.

We didn't need to, but have you entered your number on the CEAC website to check your status? https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

See what that says to see if they've even received your case.

Our interview is 3 December !

Awesome, exactly one month to go. Good luck!

I've noticed that at these stages, almost all of the embassies handle things differently. I would try the website first and then call them to see what you should do next. Goodluck!
