June 2014 - Met her for 1st time, Sf is a great town, 5 of the best days ever <3 <3

I'm sending letters from both my employers verifying my position and pay. For one of my jobs my manager isn't able to get a letterhead from corporate. Is a notarized letter ok? Any tips?

Letter to verify your employment with your wages etc. on corporate letter head with the signature and contact number of authorized officer don't need to be notorized. Instead if your employer is willing to provide an affidavit in which your employer will provide all company information such as EIN number and State Tax ID number if any, and verify your employment with the company may work. Make sure to include your pay stubs as a supporting document.

NVC has received our case but I was told it may take up to 42 days to enter it??? I called the nonimmigrant line. So we didn't get a number??? I'm a bit confuse

42 days is the official answer. Call them again tomorrow, you can call either number and once you provide your receipt number they will give you answer. Good Luck

Fiancee had her medical done and she got a copy of the results as well, everything looks awesome. The interview is on the 15th and both of us are a little nervous :(:(

I'm sure it will be fine! However I understand you're nervous - so am I lol

W got approved finally !!!! Yeyyyyy Now wait a little bit more for nvc !!!

I am going to pick up my new passport this friday, anyone a idea if it could be a problem if I fill two different passport numbers in? I am going to wait with the DS-160 untill I get the new passport, but on the initial K1 visa application I filled in my old number, could this be a problem?

I saw this and decided to call, and they received mine this morning too! Phew!

But no case number yet, did you get yours? How long does it usually take? The man on the phone said up to 42 days, but I'm really hoping that's not true.

That should not be a problem since passports has expiration and issuance dates. Use the new passport on your DS 160 and bring both passports during the interview.

When I called NVC last Sept 29, I got my case number. The guy on the phone told me that it was received the day before, Sept. 28. So call them again tomorrow :)
