Just got off the phone with NVC and they received our case on September 25th from California :) Our NOA2 date was September 8th. The representative gave us our case # and our invoice #. On to the next step <3

Congratulations! Also, thank you for posting! After seeing your post I decided to call and also got my case #. :thumbs:

Called NVC yesterday (9/28) and got our KEV number. Case is in transit to Kiev.

NOA2 was 8/25.

We're both very happy!

Congrats on getting your case number! My fiancé is also from Ukraine. I'd like to know how your journey continues, since we will be going to same place. I've heard good things about the embassy in Kiev. We just got our NOA2, so I'm going to try to be patient in waiting for the NVC case number.

My fiancée just received the letter from the NVC. We didn't expect her to get it for another while but we got it. Now we're just waiting for Packet 3 from the embassy so we can get in contact with them.

That's odd, I think you guys are just having bad luck. But try to see it from a positive point of view, you didn't even have to wait 2 months for your petition to be approved when others had to wait 6-9+ months. The guy we talked to on the phone with NVC was very nice and seemed like he knew exactly what he was talking about. He even talked to my fiancée about everything that happens next. I hope you get a guy just like ours on the phone the next time. Good luck!

Wow. Yesterday morning (US Eastern time) when I called NVC the nice representative said that they had our case and that it should be sent out soon. When I checked ceac.state.gov right after calling the status of our application was "At NVC". I just checked again and it is now "In Transit". Our application spent only 5 days at NVC. Feeling so excited now.

Hey all, just now linking up to August filer post :) I filed 8/18 and according to the website was approved 9/14. I haven't received my hard copy of the NOA though and haven't heard anything from the NVC. Called USCIS and they said that they sent the NOA2 and that it had been forwarded on to the NVC shortly after 9/14. He said if I hadn't heard anything 30 days from 9/14 to call back. Frustrating.

August 18, 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox


August 21, 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"


August 25, 2015: NOA1 Notice Date


September 14, 2015: USCIS website says "my case was approved"! :wub:


**STILL NO NOA2 HARD COPY**


October 4, 2015 NVC Received case around 10:00pm EST


October 5, 2015 Called and received case number. CAEC website shows "At NVC"


October 8, 2015 CAEC Website showed "In transit"


October 14, 2015 Received email from U.S. Consulate General in Sydney saying they had received our approved petition and they would be contacting my fiance; CAEC website shows "Ready"


October 19, 2015 Packet 3 & 4 received by my fiance


November 20, 2015 Interview date. APPROVED!!


December 3, 2015 POE


February 15, 2016 Marriage!

We received our NOA2 on 9/14 and our case was received at NVC yesterday, 10/1! Extremely blown away by how fast the process has gone so far! I also only had to wait for 5 minutes to get through to anyone at NVC. It is all so exciting!

Wondering why our case is not yet on Nvc.. Been calling every day 5x/day, it's been 38days since approval NVC said they have not received our case ???

So i called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2 agent, he was helpful and said they sent our case to NVC on Sept 30. So maybe next week it's already in NVC.. (Thinking positive)

I called NVC yesterday and was told that they'd received our case the day before (09/30); they gave me our case and invoice numbers. Just checked CEAC and learned that our case is already in transit to the embassy. :)
