Omg ?

My case went from "in trasnit" yesterday to "ready" in one day.

This is what it said when I logged on today:

Ready

Case Creation Date: 15-Sep-2015

Status Updated Date: 23-Sep-2015

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.

Our case is at the embassy! I can't believe it. We will be together in a few short weeks, hopefully.

Yeah, from the information I've gathered, you have to wait for the packet 3 email from the embassy in order to proceed and schedule your interview.

I see we're applying at the same consulate in Bosnia. Did they send you the email yet? Have you started gathering all the required documents?

My fiancé is all set for his interview, he just has to attend his medical exam and we're ready ☺️

Good luck!

It's just an estimate which is based off of everyone's cases who update their timeline. Since others have had fast approvals it can skew the estimate. Before I got approved people were having 2 week approvals. Mine however took twice that length, while having the same or earlier NO-1 date. My Timeline estimate predicted I'd have approval between August 28-31-September1-4 ...it was always changing, hoverer I got my approval on September 8 late at night.

@Sumeja

Yep, the same consulate. :)

I haven't received anything yet. On the 'embassy info' page it says that they call you and ask for you email, and then email the packet 3.

Since you have the case number, I think you can go ahead and schedule the interview right away.

Advice on the I134 Affidavit of Support?

I have two jobs but it looks like there is only room for one position per form. Should I fill out two forms? What's the best way to show both jobs? I don't want to cram all of the information onto one line.

Also, I was not making enough to meet the income requirements last year. Do I still need to provide my W2 forms? I've been at one of my jobs for 4 years and started another job, which brings me over the income requirements, back in December. I'm getting letters from both employers stating my income (gross income?), 6 months worth of paystubs, and a letter from my bank with the total amount deposited over the past year.

What they are most interested in is your "current" income level. Letters from employers will satisfy this requirement. Bring your supporting documentation to meet the other Embassy requests. 6 months of stubs is a bit much. one or two months is fine.

You can always check step 3 here. :) Then you can call them when you see it's around your NOA2 date. That's what we did.
