We married Friday <3 2 days before Valentines, so should be an easy anniversary for me to remember... Waiting for the certificate and then starting the next part of the process...

Thank you! :) Yes! I hope you'll get your NOA2 tomorrow! I would say we got our notice pretty late in the day, it was like 9:30 PM EST when my fiancé got the e-mail - so don't get discouraged if you don't get anything within what would be considered "normal" work hours.

I got off the phone with NVC yesterday morning and they got my case yesterday and provided me with a case number!!

Our NOA2 was August 20 and NVC received our case on September 15, 26 days after NOA2.

It seems like California sent a lot of our cases out at the same time since we all seem to be getting our case number from NVC yesterday and today!

This means we're almost there! Last step is the interview. ☺️

My fiancé and I have collected all the required documents and he's getting his medical exam done next week.

Annnnnnnd we're all set for the interview!

The US embassy in Bosnia is fast at making interview appointments, they've let people schedule their interview within a week! So, I hope my fiancé can have his interview at the beginning of October.

How can you track how many people for K1 are infront of your case # ?

Mobile app allow you to do that. Just change the last 2 digit of the case. You'll see people from the same NOA1 date. I track lots of people to make me feel better. Like....at least some cases got update.

14 August 2015 : Mailed I-129F through USPS express service

02 September 2015 : Received NOA1 hard copy by mail.

05 October 2015 : Case number was assigned.

20 October 2015 : Packet 3 arrived in my hand.

03 November 2015 : Got Packet 4 e-mail from Bangkok embassy about the interview date.

18 November 2015 : Visa interview and it was approved!

20 November 2015 : Got documents and a passport with K1 Visa back in my hands

My fiancé says he got a text saying to check our case status (or something along those lines) on the USCIS website. He checked immediately and it said "Case has been approved".

I had signed up for e-mail notification myself through our case on the site however I didn't receive an e-mail stating our case had been updated till 40 minutes later.

And again we got the NOA2 around 9:30 PM his time which would make it 6:30 PM @ CSC :)

It seems like US CIS is processing petitions with August 24th NOA1 date so hopefully ours is forthcoming... our NOA1 is August 28th! :) Good luck to everyone with NOA1s on or around that date! Hi all. I submitted my application on August 19, and it got approved on September 16th. That seems incredibly quick to me. Is this the "NOA2" stage?

If you received a notice saying "case approved" then that's your NOA2 - congrats! :)

And yes, they're working VERY fast these days!

Thank you, that's what I thought after reading other threads here on VJ. I actually haven't done anything yet since we've received our NOA2. My fiancée didn't even call the NVC yet because it doesn't matter to us when they send it to our embassy. I'm going to email the embassy in Germany just to make sure they know whats going on. I plan to take the medical exam in late July and go to the interview in early August. Technically that should give us enough time. Let's hope that nothing is wrong at the medical exam.

It's a bummer that we have to wait longer than expected to be together, but it is what it is.

I was wondering; are you tracking your case from USCIS to NVC to the embassy?

It's been awhile since your petition was approved, have you gotten any notice from NVC regarding receiving your case? Or have you gotten a case no.?
