You can be in either one, doesn't really matter that much. Maybe Sept since you are nearer to their processing. Again, doesn't make much difference. Once you get notification for your NOA2 you should move over to your regional sub forum for the Caribbean. You'll have lots of experts that have processed before you and know "the ropes" of which you will be traveling. What is asked from one Embassy is not necessary the same process for your Embassy. Good luck and welcome to VJ.

I don't know, I think I might stay here. My sub regional forum is dead.

Don't get me wrong, being with folks who are on a similar track as you is good for bonding and I agree with you staying put. I just want you and other's know that on VJ there is vast community of people to help you on along the way. Some sub-forums are better then others. The Philippines sub is an excellent sub-forum with lots of people and interaction for the processing through USEM. I just don't want people to get wrong information as not all Embassies require the same as others. That's my motivation and of course a smooth processing for the applicant couple.

Hi all! Anyone with a NOA1 date of or around August 28 who has been approved already? The wait is making me very giddy. :clock: Our petition is with CSC, I hope they didn't start slowing down after they received ours, LOL. I have been lurking in this thread and from what I gather, the approvals have been insanely quick! I hope to have the same luck!

I'm wondering like when people talk about date. What are they considering as NOA1 date? Like the date shows on the website when you guys put the number in as the date they receive. Or the date when you get the notification e-mail? I got an e-mail on the 27 but it said the case was received on 24. So what should be my NOA1 date?

Thank you :D

If you have your NOA1 hardcopy then look in the upper right hand corner and it says "Notice Date". That's the date. Really doesn't mean anything, coming from the NOA1 so you can pretty much ignore it.

I don't know, I think I might stay here. My sub regional forum is dead.

Same. The Middle East forum doesn't really have anything about Saudi Arabia :( I've found the consular's page and everything so I have all the technical information, but I just like to read through peoples' personal experiences, which unfortunately there is not much to read.

I thought the same thing when I saw the signature. I am still angry at myself for causing a 15 day delay. But three months :((( that's rough.

I know it's done and past but I'm curious... after any of you resent your petition did it take much longer to get NOA-1? The first time I sent mine it was returned to me very fast. The second time it took exactly one month to get NOA-1. Did this happen to anyone else?

Mine was the other way around. Took them over a week to send me a rejection notice, but when they received our re-submitted petition, they sent me an e-mail/text the following day and got the hard copy of the NOA1 three days later.

We received and RFE for not indicating that we met online on Lucky Lovers. The RapidVisa consultant advised me not to put it in my "how we met" statement. Did anyone else meet their fiancé online? And if so what did you write in your statement about how you met? The RFE is asking us to show that if we met online the website is not a International Marriage Broker. Technically it is if you read their definition of it. Just wanted to know what someone who's actually been approved did.
