Congratulations to all of you who got approved so far!! That's awesome and so motivating to read about it :D

We're still waiting for our NOA1...

My fiancé sent the package to the Lewisville address using UPS, unfortunately without any receipt or tracking :( we haven't gotten a NOA1 yet, neither per email nor per normal letter.

Should I get worried? It seems NOA1 get sent pretty fast once they receive it.

Which date did you send off the package? I don't know what the average delivery time for UPS is but I can share our experience with receiving our NOA1. Our package was received by the USCIS 3 days after sending it off using USPS. 5 days after that we got the NOA1 by email and text so in total 8 days for us.

The NOA1 hardcopy was received 13 days after sending off our petition.

UPS? Check your airway bill, you can track the number at the UPS website. UPS should be faster than USPS.

So now that I started looking into to people approval around me has freaked me out a bit because some have been approved before me and some have been approved after mine but still waiting...

Does anyone know if the country that your applying for effects the wait time because I think India is a high risk one so wondering if I should prepare myself for longer time.... :clock:

***editted*****

I know we are lucky to get this fast approval waiting of two weeks and I should hopefully hear something soon. I just started getting nervous.

Thank you so much for the replies!

We sent out the package on 22. August. According to the UPS website delivery with standard mail should take around 2-3 days at the most so they should've gotten it by now, it's almost 2 weeks...

@ckibs: If yours took 8 days total then I think we don't have to panic too much yet, thank you that helps a lot :)

@cristina16: That's what I figured too, that UPS is a bit faster. I'm gonna ask my fiancé to check if he has the bill still and check with airway bill! Thanks so much!

I'm not completely sure whether that plays a factor at this stage or not. I think the process with USCIS is more about the provided proof and whether you meet the 3 requirements for filing! I could imagine the beneficiary's country plays a bigger part when they do the background checks e.g. @ NVC?

Hello can anyone explain what happens after NOA2, I received my NOA1 but i want to be prepared. Im filing for a Dominican Republic citizen. I cant seem to find anywhere on the VJ

You might have better luck with those who have gone before you in your regions sub topic found here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/153-caribbean/. Good luck

I know this, I am tracking based on my WAC number and that how I checked who were those approved before or after my WAC number. WAC numbers were assigned as they received our forms. Those WAC series or numbers before and after me has all Aug 13 received date not Notice of Action date. If you are using the app you should know what I mean.

Notice of action date is just when they sent you the notice, it was just the date of the letter. When they actually received your application can be seen in your 797C and when you check your WAC status which is an earlier date, that date is when they assign your WAC number. Of course it is impossible that "WAC ending in 694 - approved" was received ahead of me if I am ending in 643; but then of course considering our papers were assigned to different adjudicators.

Compare your WAC number guys. 634- approved, 635 received, 636 approved, 637 RFEd, 638 received, 639 approved, 640 RFEd, 641 approved, 642 - received, 643- APPROVE!!!! OMG just checked earlier and now we are approved!!! As in just saw this now..

Congrats.
