So odd, I just checked the iphone app again and SO MANY cases before and after our case number were already approved or an RFE was sent. I know the wait we have to deal with is nothing compared to some fellas who got stuck at the TSC months ago, but it's still weird to see our case being 'skipped' in the list (for now). VJ's estimation is saying I could start hearing back from them starting tomorrow. I guess we'll just wait and see.

Congrats to all of those who have received their NOA2 recently!

hang in there, yours will probably arrive in few days.. the waiting process is crazy, but it will soon arrive for you...

HI everyone,

Late last night I decided to check the USCIS app and my email and all of the sudden I saw that my case had been approved by USCIS. It was the best feeling ever, I felt happy and so releived. Now the wait for the case to be transferred at NVC starts, hopefully is soon.

P.S.(I forgot to post here on this thread, I posted on July filers.)

Good luck to everyone else! :)

we definitely have the same dates.. USCIS did not even send me text or email regarding the approval, since i sent G1145 with my packet.. I just randomly checked the app and surprised it showed APPROVED and i verified i immediately to USCIS website and it is for real... good luck

I am sooo happy for you guys.. I am glad August processing are not slowing down!

I am patiently waiting for an RFE :(.. it's been more than a week since we received NOA1 from email. My fiance was telling me might not get an RFE but I am certain we will be RFEd due to his divorce papers. The thing is the courthouse is under renovation and will open on Aug 31. He was suppose to get a certified copy this morning.

Got NOA2 today, 8-26-2015. Crossing my fingers that NVC is as efficient as USCIS. But, no rush. Not planning to leave til next year. Not ready to leave my family and friends just yet.

This waiting is hard to do. NOA1 on Aug 3rd and still waiting to hear something. ANYTHING! Lol Seeing all these approvals with similar timelines as ours gets my hopes up. Refreshing our case status page and seeing 'received' still gets my hopes down.

I feel the same way. So odd how they already approved so many cases after our NOA1 dates. Hopefully we'll hear our good news soon.

We've received our NOA2 email at 10:30PM NY time!!!! I'm very happy that we got it before I have to leave the country, and I'm also happy that we didn't get an RFE. I was actually expecting one.

It's funny, VJ's NOA2 estimate was ON POINT. Our NOA2 took exactly 3 weeks from the NOA1.

Good luck to everyone else!

I-129F Approved 08/28/15! Two weeks from when we received NOA1. Very excited. Still planning on spending Christmas in Australia before the move, but nice to know that the visa could well be sorted by then and I could leave right after. Fiancee/petitioner will be leaving Australia in late October, hopefully I'll have an interview date set by then and we can say goodbye with an idea of when we'll be back together! I'm sure you all know how bad a goodbye is when you don't know when you'll next be together.

Off for a relaxing week in the tropics, will start navigating the next lot of paperwork when I return!

That's awesome! Congratulations to you guys! :)

The estimate on VJ says we might get our NOA2 between September 14 and 19, I hope it holds true as that would be freaking amazing!

Finally got an update today, the dreaded RFE. I'm not sure what it could be for. Is this common and something to worry about?

Getting an RFE is a veeeeeery common thing. It could be as simple as you forgetting to tick a box on the I-129F. You won't know what it is about until you get the hardcopy in the mail though, and there's no way to find out before that.
