Hello everyone,

I am an August filer as well and new to the forum.

I also downloaded the USCIS app today. Can someone kindly explain to me where in the app I can search to see how my case compares to other cases that were filed at around the same time.

So far I can only search/see mine and it says received. I have received a notification email that my application was routed to CSC on August 18th. I am still waiting for the hard copy NOA1 though.

Thank you. I like this group. It feels like a support group since we are all going through the same thing.

Follow group as your going to meet some fine people but also go over to the regional thread where you will have your interview. There you will get help.that is more tailored to what actually takes place at that Embassy. Lots of experienced people to guide you.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/100-regional-discussion/

Same goes for others. Go to your region for tailored help. What works for The Philippines may not work for say Morocco.

Good luck to all. Keep supporting each other.

Hi All,

I sent in our package on August 6, it was delivered August 11, and I received the email noa 1 on August 14, but the hardcopy of the noa 1 is dated August 13. The letter arrived August 21. I'm hoping to get the noa 2 this coming week sometime. It seems like while the CSC is processing faster, the nvc is processing slower right now, the July filers said to except from 30-40 days for nvc processing. Our wedding is January 1, I trust he will make it in time for that! Good luck to everyone!

Also, forgot to mention that I did include the G-1145 but it seems like they didn't use it because I didn't get a receipt notification, I just got a noa-1 email notification 3 days after they received my application. Just in case that is making anyone else nervous, I know I was!

Hey ! I don´t know about your situation ofcourse, but planning a wedding ahead before u even know if u will have the visa or when u will have visa, is considered risky. Can you get ur money back for the venue if u don´t make it? And about noa2, it is true that CSC is working really fast, but don't get up your hopes to much ! It could suddenly happend they start working slow again.

Hello everyone,

I downloaded the USCIS app on my iPhone when I started my K-1 journey, it has become my number 1 source of info on the go regarding my case. Like every morning I checked the app this morning as well to check the status of my case. I found out that the app has this search feature where you can put your receipt number and it can search for all ohter applications that were received and it will show the status of the other applications. I saw that my case was received and that is the current status. Also i saw that cases that have been received later in the order have been already approved. Is this normal? Is it just luck?

Also are there any August or end of July filers that have already received their NOA2 either by email or mail?

Normal, I can see the same things.

I can see cases received, rejected (incorrect fee, not signed, wrong form), approved. You can enter WAC earlier than yours to see more and edit count. :)

Pretty cool actually :)

G-1145 is e- notification form. The email you received is your e notification; otherwise, you will only receive the I-797C from the mail.

That is how understand the G-1145, so yes they used the form to send e-notification to you.

Same with me, our papers were received Aug 13 but my fiance received the email August 18. We received the actual I-797C on August 21. So were notified via email ahead of the printed I-797C.

It is cool, yet it makes me a little mad, there are cases that were received later than mine and they have already been approved. I just have to be a little patient and this could be the week since the estimate from VJ says so :)

Good Luck to you as well.
